Finder Keepers. If the public wants to see the stuff, let them either go out and find it, or pay for it. The Treasure Trove law of the UK is a money bill. If recording is required fine, but let the finders and landowners decide what to do with the spoils. The dam goverment steals whatever is valuable and never pays out the true worth. I have no respect at all for the politicaly correct brigade and bleeding heart liberals. Finders Keepers. Keep up the good work guys !!!
I have the shits of you fucking archeologists! You guys just want to dig the finds yourselves and then after you do your documentation, the artifacts wind up in box sitting on a shelf and rarely if ever, is it shared with the public. I hunt with a metal detector and I share my finds with a local museum for public viewing. And I do document my finds. I hunt with the land owners consent!

What part of Russia is this? I hope those robbers would be caught! Those artifacts belongs to Russia and museums. For ppl like that arheologists, the real ones, can't do their job. When he "discover" those metal artifacts he disrupt and destroy cultural layers and non metal artifacts ( pottery, bones both animal and human, etc). It is sad! I hope Russia and other not so wealthy countrys will do something about those ppl who destroys their own country! that is criminal act! put em in jail!
The stuff they are finding is in the top 50 to 60 centimetres of soil which is mostly ploughed, so the context of what they are finding makes no difference. How do you know they are destroying anything? Maybe they have permission to detect there. You are wrong just to assume they are stealing

One day from a life of "black" archeologists! and second real ARCHEOLOGIST DOESNT DIG LIKE PIGS and don't use metal detectors! I'm archeologist by the way. The real one... I agree that those artifacts are just few centimeters from the top, but that doesn't mean it's allowed to take a showell and dig! If that land belongs to man that dig there, it's ok. and if he takes those findings to home. but if he try to sell them that's felony! so i'll put em to jail!
We Russian very poor. American metaldetector We have been compelled to buy, as cost Russian metaldetectors very high. Hummer - trophy. Sadam Hussein at date of a birth has presented gardens!
We Americans are headed for econmic disaster thanks to the plans of the 13 richest familes in the world, the Rockerfellors, Greenburgs, they want to chip all the people and get rid of cash so when you complain they just shut off the chip ! this is the new world order. The whites metal detector is exspensive in america full two weeks paycheck for the some of the cheaper models ! are blue jeans still espensive in Russia ? i remember the big thing was taking 20 pairs to russis if you went

That is unreal on that ax-hammer !!The one I found is the exact same one !I went and got it this morning.I will take it to a local dealer to see if it is modern or not..great finds you have there
HEY, I just found an ax-hammer EXACTLY like the one you found.I covered it back up because I thought it wasnt old?????.I'm going back and get it! How old are these?Any idea???
Good Lord, if you're going to excavate, make sure you map EXACTLY where you found the artifacts. If you don't record where you found them and how deep you had to dig to get to them, those artifacts are worthless and nothing can be learned from them.
Maybe you dont get it, but these guys are nothing more than tresure hunters, thats why the "black" is in the title. Mostly they look for dog tags to sell them on ebay.
hehe nice old relicts, awesome, but in my coutry we cannot look on places where old civilization had their setllement cause it destroy their historical value..
I have watched this video several times because it is interesting and I am trying to identify the detector Habarolog is using. Anybody know? BTW, I am starting to like the song in this video but I have no idea what it is about :?
Great finds and video man. In USA we just buy WWII ammo and rifles. Not rusted, ready to fire again. I hunt with a german K98. Digging them out is nevertheless rewarding.
You lose a lot of information if you just yank out the material from the ground. Every archaeologist knows that the ground that surround the artifact is just as important as the artifact itself. From this you can determine the exact date, the circumstances surrounding the artifact, how it became interned, the cultural preferences, all just by looking around it. Digging up a site therefore is burying history forever. Terrible
Yes, certainly, we cooperate with museums, we inform about interesting subjects found on fields. Also, we give some subjects. Subjects which you see in film, it is possible to find out very often, almost on each fields.
The situation becomes complicated that for 70 years of the Soviet authority, at people took away all and always. At modern authority communistic traditions - neither that nor whom, never to pay are kept.
They have got used to take away only. Therefore, something there are not enough people who will voluntary give to a museum. If the situation will not change, many ancient rarities will remain only in private collections.
exact date? uh huuuh and im sure u can even find out the exact date when that person that wore it took a sh*T and at what time or miliy second the SH*T hit the floor?
There is no a destruction history! It has been collected on a field which to plough up a tractor almost every year. Therefore, we collect these subjects, that they finally were not lost under a tractor.
OK, as long as the finds were fully processed and recorded, i.e. with a GPS or grid plotting system, there shouldn't be a problem. I'm a professional archaeologist and am very interested in what happens to archaeological artifacts.
What title a song?
