You gotta love that Ring of Fire. :) I wish you could get the fairies to copy it for you, but it seems like they can only copy stuff that you find everywhere like vitamins.

They can copy it. In fact, they can copy everything, it just happens to be the shop only opens after this boss battes.

Even hourglasses? I've tried to get them to do that hundreds of times, they usually end up failing and destroying the item and I have to load the old game.

Yeah even those, just make sure your fairies have a full Light-Blue bar and SAVE before entering the village to get the items back. You will get a copy every now and then.
