I find it amazing how some people can get over a million on their scores. I barely make it to around 400-500 thousand before getting swarmed by ghosts. >_>

You summed up the game nicely though.

P.S You should tap on the green "Player" thing at the top and change it to your name... Unless you already did that. =P

It does take some practice. I've played Crimsonland for years (A game very similar to Idracula, hell even the perks are basically the same in Crimsonland). I've only had it for a few days and got almost 3 million in highscore ;]

Stay around the fountain. The enemies that try to flank you take longer getting around it so you have time to shoot in other directions.

You'll also be able to shoot across the fountain with the crossbow/ machine gun and kill them long before they get to you.

The surrounding lampposts should also block a delay a couple of them by seconds.
