especially on a morning start, (cold morning) you have to let all the oil get recirculated throughout the parts, most ppl get in their cars and go to work with out even thinking about that, thats why most ppl have problems later on in the furture cause of bad compression or worn internals
i own a 2006 mustang gt. you should have let the car warm up more before revving, you would have gotten a louder sound from the exhaust and less noise from the motor. very nice car!
