The Wire doesn't make use of music so much. I don't remember any ambient music playing in any climactic scene or any music effects used cheaply like in other tv shows. But when there is music, it is devastating, thought provoking, gripping music that gets under your skin.

@panospcm Agreed, when Head Sprung was being randomly played in a car stereo during a scene with Bodie and them I was like wow, this really means something I am deeply effected...
