@MySheena27 If the other cichlid is very aggressive all the time and is causing the tank mates loads of stress I would remove it TBH

Nice set of videos, recently subscribed to your channel. What type of powerhead is that running is your tank? Or is that a filter outlet? I just got an AquaClear 30 powerhead, seems okay, but a little noisy with the aeration feature turned on.

@contactian Hi there and thank you. I pick up the power head in an aquatic auction and tbh I can't remember the name sorry. I'm buying a wave maker soon off eBay search wavemaker :)

here's an interesting concept- what effect does color have on the fishes' behavior? I plan to conduct an experiment with a broken dslr covered in light tan masking tape. If the outcome is any different at all, I don't know if it would be that the lighter color is less threatening, or that it is simply harder for the fish to see. I also plant to do one with the lens front uncovered to see if that has any different effect. In the meantime, leaving a camera close to the tank also helps. great vid!
