Isai (Link) vs. Moogle (Jiggly)

Moogle plays the best Jigglypuff I've seen around, but Link v Jiggly is always gonna be campy Jiggly, if Link plays right. Too bad this isn't SSBM Jiggly, because he's dominant there.

Moogle's pretty damn good. In all honesty, Isai got REALLY FREAKING LUCKY on the last stock. Moogle had him in a potential rest combo TWICE but somehow Isai got out twice. This was easily a win for Moogle.

yeah jiggs seems as campy here as she/he/it is in melee. i think hes using link for projectile game/spacing purposes with bombs and boomerang, and link's sword, kinda like how germ out spaced hugo's jiggs with link

Jiggly is one of the hardest characters to combo, which is why it seemed Isai wasn't as "good" as usual. You pretty much have to play a campy jigglypuff because of the way her arials are.

It's called Z canceling. During the dair he taps Z (Well I do, which you're not supposed to do since doing it once works well but l have a bad sense of timing) before he hits the ground. This stops the recoil of landing from an aerial. I noticed he missed the Z cancel twice, but it's very fast.

there was no luck involved in those rests, they were part of moogle's combos. moogle had the "unlucky" throw near the end to start a combo that sent isai up just high enough so that he could tech away on the platform above, but "unlucky things like that would hardly determine the outcome of the game. skill always determines the outcome, which is why isai won
