This is definitely on my "must have" list for a subwoofer. I was gonna try a few other brands, but since I hear alot of good stuff about TC sounds and how their subs have those extreme lows. And 1000-4000 watts?
@13elsauz Because TC Sounds is a build house. They manufacture many other brands of speakers such as Eclipse, Sound Splinter, and some others I can't remember off the top of my head. TC Sounds is their actual brand of equipment and they do not charge for the big popular name. The performance of their products speaks for itself!!
@nickyperezz Depends on what you want. The LMS-r is very low distortion, but compared to the Axis, doesn't get very loud ether. Don't get me wrong though, it will get loud. The LMS-r uses a TC9 motor, I have a 12" LMS with a TC9+ motor(little bigger) and it will do low to mid 140's on music. You can expect that in a 15" LMS-r.
A 15" Axis will get you 145's to 148's if setup properly but won't sound as good, though SQ is still higher than your average sub. Both are great.
@nickyperezz You should download WinISD or a similar program and design a box for your needs. Generally a 15" Axis will do good in 2-3 cubes sealed. Ported you can go anywhere from 2-4 cubes tuned to 28-35 hz. Personally I like tuning lower(18 or 19 hz), however for most people they like higher tuning.
You need to download WinISD and use that to find what you want. Its an easy program to use and will really help you design a good first enclosure.
Will TC ever come out with an 8"????!!!! Im just not a big sub guy anymore... a single 10 is as big as ill go nowadays. >.< but a couple 8's would be amazing!
I really wish I had some of these subwoofers... although these subwoofer are so crazy, you only need one... but then again, if it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing!
6:01 HMM who knew Barbra Streisand and Rod Stewart Bumped TC sounds. God damn Barbra. Why do you go down my Neighborhood at night bumping. Damn you Audio Terrorist! lol
@DARQMX He's talking about the Aura 1808, not the TC Sounds driver, and I'm pretty sure he's talking about them using 1808s at their concerts, not at home or in their cars.
sp thilo is saying that hes redesigned the axis woofers? if i remember correctly the axis rms is 250o watts. never have i heard of it taking anything near 6000 watts?
These subs are awesome... I took a risk buying on without knowing anything about it a couple years ago. Turned out to be an Audiopulse Epic, which has been awesome. Since then I've bought the LMS-r, Revo, and Axis. All have blown away the other subwoofers I've bought :)
Looks like I need a new Tahoe/Suburban/InfinitySUV/...SUV... So I can fit a bunch of these subs in it. :3
