Thanks this was nice to know. Also, can you tell me if the same amount of water is filtered in for all the cycles. i.e. quick cycle vs.regular. I read an article that said the amount of clothes placed in the drum did not determine the cylce but how soiled they are. (for some reason I have a mind set that quick wash means less water so only put in a small load) Thanks :)
Good choice of water level! I have a Duet from 2004 & I made ad adjustment (different procedure than yours) and if it fills (too high) the baffles in these drums are not large enough to lift & drop.........so you definitely want more water than the factory settings (but not too much) to where the clothes just roll around......On my Duet, it was hard to find a happy medium. Either it was too little or halfway up the door. If mine got too high, it would trigger a fault overflow code.
Thank you so much for posting this video! After seeing the adjustment to the Samsung, I did a little research online and figured out how to adjust the water level in my LG washer. Turns out it's the same process, only the part is in a different location. What a difference! The clothes are now actually wet from the BEGINNING of the cycle, they wash more cleanly, they rinse more thoroughly, and the machine is cleaner as well. Thanks again!
awesome. these manufacturers should let you program through the panel or something how much water you want it to use. I'm glad so many people are finding this useful... lol.. we are rebels!! al gore is not going to be happy with you. hehe
Hey, Yes It uses this amount on all settings, even the rise settings
