They are stuntmen who are all friends behind the scenes, but when cameras are rolling they are actors as well. All the Titles are fixed. They get paid to entertain. You know how they used to bleed in the old days? (not sure if they still do it today) They get little razors and cut themselves, so when you hit their heads with the cheap material in those chairs they would bleed. If it was real, they would not last long in that business. NFL RB's aren't Ric Flairs age.

He messed up his leg cause it was an accident. Sometimes stuntmen get hurt. It is real in the sense that it involves physical contact, but they are trained professonals (stuntmen). Look up some ex-WWF/WWE and WCW wrestler interviews. They even say that they are all friends in real life, it is all acting.
