@thee0zone there are many ways to render videos from Sony Vegas. Have a look at some of the tutorials here. As a quick test, when you Render-As, Save as type: Sony AVCMVC (mp4), and select the template Internet 1280 x 720-30p. A 1 minute video from that might be less than 80MB. Want smaller? Try "Internet 320x240 30p"

@desiguy118 as long as your computer is fairly new and up to date, you shouldn't need any additional hardware. to import videos, just connect your device to your computer through a USB cable.

to be honest, Pro 8 has always been the best for me, it has tons of features 9 didnt have and 9 was the same, but minus the cool features. :P So i don't think i will bother upgrading to 10, untill some major new effects have been added.

Sony Vegas is a great editing program, obviously it will take you a small bit to get used to it, but once you know how to use it, it's great :)

If you mean, can she use it easily, then, with some practice, possibly. There are no HUGE changes to this from Pro 9, only some added features.
