Man i wanted the bears to trade for a reciever. My hopes were up for like dwane bowe or something. We need a big reciever for cutler. If we had that the Bears would be a top 10 team for sure. But we still got until week 7 so my fingers are crossed

I dont want to see Bryant or Ruud to go, but I woudnt mind for M80 to be shipped, honestly if Stoval can stay healthy he is better then clayton, he could be a deep threat also, shown in the pre season, and our first reg season game. but not alot of playing time, I would put Stoval over M80 if I was raheem.

Man I am so glad with this move. This year is down the drain, I'm glad that Raheem can see this and actually do something productive and get more draft picks. As for trading Ruud I would have to say that would break my heart, he has been the only bright spot on our defense.

Wilkerson and Bryant should be traded. They're in the last year of their contracts and probably won't be back. Teams are always looking for pass rushers and play making WRs. We could probably get 4th or 5th round picks for them and get the young guys behind them some playing time.

And it would be ridiculous to trade Ruud. The D-line has made him look bad, especially Ryan Sims. There are huge holes up front. Ruud is part of the solution, not part of the problem.

As for Wilkerson, why would we want to move one of the few guys playing well? Bryant is franchise tagged, so not only is he too expensive, but would require a longer term deal on the backend. As for Ruud, I like the guy, but this year has not been solid and I disagree with you assertion about Simms. The tackles, despite popular opinion, have been playing relatively well. Ruud has faded in the stretch every year and this year is not playing with the same fire IMO.

Wilkerson playing well doesn't really mean anything though. Are we going to the playoffs this year? Obviously not. Is he part of a long term plan? He's a 29 year old UFA after the season, so probably not. Best to get something for him now.

4th overall selection for a late 2nd round pick... Yeas Adams had underperformed, but he is still young, and in my mind has A LOT of potential. It's only what, his 3rd year? Way to early to call him a boust, or give up on him.

i think it is a win for both teams, 4 overal for a late second rounder, he will be better with the bears under rod, Put it this way bears are cheap and are all about money, we will mostly not sign Ogunleye after this season becuase the price will be to high, so we get a guy with the same talent for about 5million less, and then they will use that money to get a stund free agent, So we could of had Ogunleye and a late second round pick or Adams working with rod and a stud free agent

I would've like us to give up a 3rd or 4th for Adams, but a 2nd?! Are they planning for him to start next year or something? Hopefully Marinelli will get the most potential out of him. He has a lot of talent( remember his interception for touchdown against the Bears last year). This better be worth it because we won't have a first or second round pick next year.

I find it an interesting trade considering we already gave the 1st rd pick to Denver in the Cutler trade. Seems pretty high for the guy, but we'll see how it goes and i think he'll be good.
