If you guys ever go to a Thrice show, don't be lazy on that foot stomp. It makes the song so much more intense. I saw them at the Chubby Rain House of Tunes last year. There weren't any more than 75 people in the venue. It was the only concert I've ever gone to alone because none of my friends know of/like Thrice, but it was by far the best show I've ever been to in my life.

Both these bands have amazing vocalists with really gorgeous voices and amazing emotional roars. Riverside are also generally one of the most amazingly awesome bands you'll EVER hear.

@987657654321 Well the way I see it is that there is a difference between "selling out" and "cashing in". Selling out is putting your soul into the music and it just so happens to become a commercial success, like Tool, they sell out every concert that they are set to appear at. But cashing in is just half assing, recycling, or just changing your music to fit in the mainstream and make a buck. And as for kids wearing my favorite bands shirt, I'm fine with it as long as they like the music.

You are so completely right! I try to explain to people who are not familiar with them that when they scream, they do it for a reason...they scream for truth...to get people to wake up. Not just for the hec of it. They are so artistic with their lyrics and their musicality is so far beyond any band I have ever heard! They have to be my favorite band of all time :)

i remeber seeing these gys when they were touring for vheissu. I tell ya what am amazing show. They were burning incense and perumes so it smelt awesome and dustinw as wearing all his black clothes like he did for most vheissu shows and it was unbeleivable. That is all!

I've hated Green Day since I was 13 and I am now 22. Back then it was Blink 182 vs Green Day at my school, and I was one of the very few people who could not fucking stand Green Day. So yeah, I don't hate them just because everyone else does, and when they hopped the guyliner and black hair emo bandwagon thing to fit in with other bands, it just reinforced my hatred toward them.
i couldn't stand Green Day for awhile either to tell the truth. I found them too juvenile. True the eyeliner is pretty gay, however only one of them has black hair and that his natural hair color, but they aren't emo in the slightest and i wouldn't call producing a concept album with a story arc, key and time signature changes

Hope gives you something to live for whats they point in living with out a hope. Sure religion isn't a great method, it has cause so many wars and will continue to cause wars, but it also teaches understanding and hope, something that people need, now more than ever.

That technology to prepare for natural disasters doesn't benefit the poor either, sure it may help a very small percentage but things like shelters and heat and what won't ever help the poor. Most shelters charge 10 dollars a night, that may seem like nothing but where is a homeless man going to find that money? You are right that some religions divide people but Christianity......

The most logical conclusion was a mystical being because nothing else could explain how the world worked and how we were alive.

You are so completely right! I try to explain to people who are not familiar with them that when they scream, they do it for a reason...they scream for truth...to get people to wake up. Not just for the hec of it. They are so artistic with their lyrics and their musicality is so far beyond any band I have ever heard! They have to be my favorite band of all time :)

i remeber seeing these gys when they were touring for vheissu. I tell ya what am amazing show. They were burning incense and perumes so it smelt awesome and dustinw as wearing all his black clothes like he did for most vheissu shows and it was unbeleivable. That is all!

I've hated Green Day since I was 13 and I am now 22. Back then it was Blink 182 vs Green Day at my school, and I was one of the very few people who could not fucking stand Green Day. So yeah, I don't hate them just because everyone else does, and when they hopped the guyliner and black hair emo bandwagon thing to fit in with other bands, it just reinforced my hatred toward them.

i couldn't stand Green Day for awhile either to tell the truth. I found them too juvenile. True the eyeliner is pretty gay, however only one of them has black hair and that his natural hair color, but they aren't emo in the slightest and i wouldn't call producing a concept album with a story arc, key and time signature changes
