Awesome movie... despite the laughable representation of punk culture, racist stereotypes and shock value sex scenes, haha. And I really do mean that, I enjoyed this film very much, it just had a lot of flaws that needed to be overlooked :P

I remember seeing this movie in the theater with my husband. We were the only ones in the theater; everyone else was watching some Disney crap, I guess. At this point in the film, we were already engrossed with the story and the great acting. However, *this* made both of our mouths drop open, and we just sat watching in open-mouthed astonishment the entire time. GREAT filmmaking.

@BettinaBalser Shock value does not equal good cinema. You dont need drugs, murder, and prostitution to make a good scene. That "disney crap" sends a much better message than this trash. That "disney crap" probably did much better at the box office than this failure. And there's a reason for that...

@v1per187 True, but it doesn't matter if Disney is the most successful movie company out there, this is a great movie that was criminally overlooked, it was Spike's first film with an all white cast and I commend him for working so hard on it, it's a terrific film that's well paced, well directed, well acted, and Spike was very passionate about it, he helped turn an amateur screenplay by two Italians into an epic and entertaining film.
