  • @Businessgurl44 maybe but if u r really concerned ask your child's doctor.

  • @ihatenumbers987 I'm curious what the cause of autism may be? More and more people are being diagnosed as autistic and to me I don't think it's just that there have always been this many autistic people, I think we are seeing a trend. Not sure what you believe? But let's say it is a trend then. What do you think is causing it? Could it be pollution or something in the environment or vaccines?

  • I have/had all the symptoms but I'm almost a teenager what do I do?

  • Ok my son just turned two in April. He's not really talking but he shows interested with other kids. He say lil words such as No, mommy, daddy. He does throw tantrums when he doesnt get his ways.Mostly act crazy around his grandma and throw tantrum with her since she spoils him but around me and his dad, he behaves well. Does it sound like a child with autism? Also can a child tht has NOT been vaccinated gets autism? when do a child usually start using sentences?

  • I love being autistic im the smartest one in my school a real einstein...

  • @wayne2166 yes the things we are intrested in are we really good at

  • And how about you tell the parents what the symptoms of mercury poisoning are. Aggression, Violent outbursts, loss of coordination, loss of speech, GI tract problems, food allergies, social withdrawal. But sadly most autism "specialists" are paid corporate whores who care more about getting rich then telling the truth. Zeolite cures mercury poisoning.

  • @CodexAlimentarius1 you really need a wake up call, autism isnt the same as murcury poisoning, it never will be.

  • @CodexAlimentarius1 How does Autism = Mercury Poisoning? My mother was never near Mercury when she was pregnant with me and I had autism since I was born. So what are you talking about? From what I researched Autism is a depletion of a piece of Chromosome 16.

  • @ras144 It can be any sort of heavy metal overload, not just mercury poisoning. It results from the brain swelling when a substance overloads the body and the kidneys are unable to excrete it. Some people are more susceptible from this happening than others. AIt has nothing to do with chromosomes.

  • @Adnoydoll o__O Um, according to the hours of research my school forced me to conduct, Autism is a mutation of a chromosome caused by unknown. I doubt it's Mercury Poisoning because all autistic children would be Mad as a hatter.

  • All about autism here: watch?v=F5B596UxO2w

  • i have had allsorts of difrent obsesions in my life,i collected comics for about 4 yeers and had about 400 of them,i used to go out collecting clovers in fields when i was about 8 and at the moment my obsesion is playing my bass :D

  • excuse me? kids play with marbles for hours on end?

so tell me what happens when a dedicated students does outside normal class hours? a phd student for example.

  • stupid quak just wants to make easy money..im tired of these bullshyt quacks!

  • dam i have it

  • @mslaracroftrocks what s wrong whit that

  • i wonder how much of this autism talk is just a cover for the mountains of ignorance they have about the "condition" they're dealing with

  • Autism is caused by vaccines! I know because I have it.

  • some people believe this. but i think there's more evidence that it's genetic. there are so many physiological differences: cortisol levels are different, the autonomic nervous system operates differently, the amygdala develops differently. i read some research in which a genome or two had been isolated: linked to autism/asperger's. i think it's too complex to write off to one source. there could be env.'l. influences: but i don't think they're a cause.

  • @Truetrauma didnt youre parents teach you its wrong to lie?

  • @Truetrauma yes they thought that but it s not clear yet

  • there's a lot of variation. we are all individuals. it's hard to put us all in the same category, or to say, "i've talked to one person with autism; therefore i know what it's all about." also, there's a huge range of "functioning." you might know someone with mild AS, for instance, and have no idea that person is autistic in any way. you might just think they're a little socially clumsy or just passionate about a specific interest.

  • I have Asperger.

  • Listening to music repetitively is natural. There are other attributes with Autism other than repetition, like choosing to stay aloof instead of socializing, language skills slumping, etc.

  • @Symphony404 yes that s right, I have it

  • most people do actuly do things like that it's just the compulsiveness of it like being totaly locked into it, unable to leave the zone.

i often have times like that with games like warcraft n stuff but way worse than other people. im talking like staying up till sometime 8am

  • Reply to BOBO102: Which warcraft do you play? I play World of Warcraft.. If you play that, Can you please give me a message on my YouTube channel so we can visit eachother? k Thx Bye =D

  • @UcantResistClicking0 meh i quick a couple of months back now but i used to play on alonsus eu

  • i think i have autism.

  • Me too.

  • @WhoCaresJay how did you figure out that, I have autism, cheack whit an doctor or something.

  • And we all hate you, Shelly... Autism is a fascinating disease, but hard on a lot of families. Just imagine having a baby brother/sister and finding out he or she had a mental illness. You wouldn't be laughing then, would you?

  • its interesting to see you call it a disease and mentall illness...

its not how i see autism, its more like a different outlook on life

so what if "normal people" dont like autism or me?

why should it be mandatory for autistic people to get along, when the world pretty much show they dont want to get along with autistic people?

sorry to rant btw, im just a little sick ... nvm :)

  • Point taken. What I meant is that no matter how you argue for or against it, autism is a different state of mind and rationalized against people with "normally" functioning brains, they are different - thereby not implying that they are any less human. I'm very fascinated my autism in terms of their capabilities such as memory and photographic memory. But I know that it's hard on them and their families. Personally, I'd be very interested in talking to an autist to see how they are as persons.

  • well if you want i can answer some questions for you in private, seeing im autistic :)

autism is hard on my family and me, but i want to say theres good sides as well, for my family theres now someone with a sense of humour, who is also willing to do alot of things they dont dare too and for me theres something new just waiting around every corner :)

hope that made sense ... these comment boxes really are to small

  • @mattfan14 you can talk to me lol

  • @mattfan14 Ok my son just turned two in April. He's not really talking but he shows interested with other kids. He say lil words such as No, mommy, daddy. • @Businessgurl44 vaccines do not cause autism!

  • @doublejoutdoors true. i never had meds and i have it. (PDD-NOS and proud of it)

and as for people who think autists are stupid... they're as worse as any other racist.

now i mention that... black, brown, white, red... we're all human, yes?

  • @doublejoutdoors How the heck would you know? Do you know what an active placebo is? It is a placebo used in trials which contains heavy metal as a preservative and an acjuvant. In other words, both the placebo AND the vaccine itself contain heavy metals. How is this study not going to produce a skewed result? Do you research before buying into media bias.

  • @mattfan14 For starters, stop calling them 'autist's. Autistic people are usually referred to as 'aspies'

  • @Adnoydoll didn't know that actually... english isn't my native tongue, forgive me if I'm not all knowing about it's use :)

  • before you make comments you should realize that this stuff helps people
