I say those are unjust because CAPCON always give too much preference to X. It is true that X is the protagonist (except in the MMZ series) and therefore should be more important, but the preference they have for X is exaggerated. If you do not believe, remember that: 1.-Zero has died twice in the series of MMX, and both times was to save the useless X. 2.-AX always give these armor than do super-, super-fast, super strong

Half of the stages "force" you (2 are in the bike and 2 are auto-scrolling), I don't like Zero's voice in this game, I don't understand why remove the duck and I won't accept the fall of Sigma in this game - a secondary character who could be a woman but is a man finished him for good? We're talking about SIGMA, almost as persistent as Dr. Wily! But I do like a number of features of this game.

It was stated in "Mega Man Zero Official Complete Works" that this ending takes place in an unspecified time after the end of the X series. So this ending is indeed consistant. x7 and x8 (along with any future games in the X series) take place between the events X6 and Zero's ending in X6.

So the series would (SHOULD) end here and would open up directly the Zero series (Zero's ending is the bridge, one of X's endings hints this bridge too). @schmelzwah About the duck, yeah, it makes sense, but if I'm not mistaken, Axl obviously can't aim straight down in the ground. I mean, they could still use the duck in X and Zero, and compensate for Axl with more strength in his shots (they're nice, but imagine that). And I agree, X's death was the stupidest death to the Mega Man series, even more stupid than Zero's - the first ones were nice, but now we know the guy will always come back!

@schmelzwah i know x8 was "good" but there was so many inconsistence on the story, because the original story was suppose to end on x5 but when mmzero came out capcom forced keiji inafune to make one more game so the story ends in x6 when zero decided to get into a capsule for 140 years (just search mmx zero's ending)
