Airbus A380 Night Landing Dubai DXB

Jesus, can't any of these crews do a crosswind landing anymore? None of them seem to straighten out before touchdown.

Boys and girls, this is what happens when you fly about 4 legs a month and do only 1 or 2 landings.

I realized that all Airbus A380's do crosswind landing, so i dont really think that it's a crosswind landing, but MAYBE it could be the plane.

@loscantos - there is a wind from the left, instead of wind straight down the runway. you can see the plane is "looking" left as it lands, so this is called a crosswind landing.  Did I answer your question?

get your facts straight okay, the airbus a340-600 is the longest plane, the annatov 225 is the largest plane, the airbus a380 is the largest passenger plane,

weather its emirates or qantas or singapore or continental doesnt matter, its the same plane with a different livelry but as airbus keep producing them they make it better and release a new series of planes, all the same size though, just different mechanics.

I understand from Emirates that they have discontinued using the A380 on the New York - Dubai run. I spoke with an Emirates Captain about it. Not sure where it is being used now. I'll check around.

Yes, it's mounted in the tail, which is something like 10 stories up - or some other ridiculous height.
