JP 2 & JP 3 are complete failures of movies, no actor in those awfull movies portrays even the slightest bit of believable fright.. but how can they? they are looking at a green screen and are told that a raptor will be animated their so plz look all scary for us would u? remember the fear edged on the faces of the kids? they were looking at actual robotic replicas... nothin can prepare u in the slightest way for this.. the most intelligent and efficient dinosaur that ever lived.

nice vid dude. It's a wonder the youtube police hasn't blocked you yet. I have a qeustion for everyone, how did they get the raptors so realistic in all three films? I mean they really didin't cut any corners but even so nothing compared to stuff released at the same time. There's never a moment that you lose the experience or it looks rather computerized or too crappy model-ish. Even modern films could use a few pointers from the jurassic graphics team.

It's because they were treated as characters, not creatures. All of the movements were carefully done so that they looked as real as possible. Modern movies use monsters as a commodity, and so the effects look worse.

Maybe a month ago after only watching new super effects amazing movies i watched the first JP and i was stunned it was soo well done! Like if they used props they were geniuses if they used digital animation they were so far ahead of their time. Amazing videos. Same goes for this one !! awesome!

Actually, the raptors in JP were not velociraptors. They are too large. BUT, there IS a raptor that is that large, it's called the Utahraptor, and it was discovered sometime during or right after the release of JP.

No. Velociraptor's food was not primarily eggs. It probably included eggs, but was mostly meat from other dinosaurs.

The real name of this dinosaur is Deynonichus. I don´t know why in these movies people call them Velociraptor. The true Velociraptor was just a small dinosaur that lived in a place that nowadays is known as Mongolia, and his primary food was other dinosaurs´eggs (that´s why its name means ´fast thief´)
