  • I would like to waltz with Christoph Waltz.

  • That's a bingo!!

  • ...ld knows who she is, should immediately quit because it makes you sound over the top. He says Oprah, and then says her name with a bit of his accent influencing her name, he is not trying to play a game of wits. Idiots, from America and elsewhere.

  • Wow, we have some people out there who intend to be very logical and try to "out argue". How annoying, grow the fuck up foreigners and locals. Jesus, all you debating the logical sense in which he commented on Oprah, which by the way almost everyone in the wor

  • Violin seems such a long word in German.

  • @HRRFrank its not a violin you damn moron. its an ukulele

  • He is so charming! I just love Der Humpink. :)

  • trololollolololol

  • finally a guy who makes me proud of my country

  • He's so HOT.

  • i love how he's so humble about everything

  • It's like stackenblochen :D

  • DER HUMPINK!

  • I was not expecting that humpink video. But he's an awesome actor.

  • the more I see Der Humpink the more I laugh

  • I understand the trololo spoof he did but I don't get the humping part and the red bow. Why does he put a red bow? Someone help.

  • @FFFRINGE you don't have to understand it, feel the stupidity and the irony in it, that's all

  • @FFFRINGE To show he humped it, and when there were all of the bows on the sheep. Yeaaahhh

  • It's a very witty play of words, because afterwards, when he says "she reigns the world", he is probably also "double-talking" about his art form and not about Oprah.

    Just appreciate the man :)

  • This is so awesomely goofy. I wonder how many people who saw this knew he was mocking the Trololo guy.

  • what did he exactly say about his son?

  • its interesting that american humour and german humour meet here showing their differences. Both Waltz and Kimmel have different reactions when each of them say a joke.

  • Shwarzenegger is Austrian too, wierd uh

  • Is he talking about Oprah or is he making a joke and meant Oper?

  • der humpink makes me laugh :D omg.... :D

  • It IS better than inglourious basterds.

  • He murdered that glass of water after the show.

  • For all those confused about Der Humpink - it is a parody of an old Soviet music video...

  • I just met him!!!!!! And he gave me his autograph! He's so nice and friendly!

  • he reminds me of

    tim roth and/or gabriel byrne.

  • @michaelikel omg thank you! gabriel byrne exactly. they could be long lost brothers.

  • @silentxnight I think he looks a lot more like T.E. Lawrence, personally...

  • this is a turnoff and a turnon at the same time. lol

  • as much as how colorful Hanz Landa is he is such a simple guy, in real life.

  • How is he not embarrassed to come on Jimmy Kimmel Live and show that video?

  • Did anybody feel that small LA earthquake?

  • @TorinMarch the one in july? I did lol.

  • academy award winner actor christoph waltz really looks like iran's mr. president ahmadinejad, he is a great actor n hope dat one of the finest director of all time mr. martin sorcese would make film on the president, it would be great movie and sure dat they both will win again academy awards...........

  • That der Humpink made me laugh so hard!! I love him- I hope he's in more american movies some time soon, those are more convenient to find then the other movies he's been in (other than Inglourious basterds of course)

  • I think he's an amazing actor, very well spoken and funny among many other things but the trololololo thing in Russian scares me and even with Waltz I am rather frightened. However I do want to put my SatNav into Korean :)

  • HE IS SO AWESOME,MY FAVOURITE

  • Damn you Christoph you're older than my dad! but I would sooooooooooooo do you...hard.

  • WTF IS THAT ? der Humpink ? wtf is that ? seriously, wtf is that ? ein telephone ? then he fucks it ? ... fuck , I'm never going to austria.

  • @LightYagame100000 You have obviously never seen Trololol.

  • @LightYagame100000 Believe me when I say that's not an Austrian thing. I am Austrian born and raised and I didn't get it either :-S

  • @LightYagame100000 That must be some of the silliest and most stupid conclusions I've ever heard. Don't you know anything about other countries?! From one silly old television spot you seem to be able to tell quite a lot about a country...congrats.

  • dont lie, we think actors are god. but we like bread.

  • Jimmy, you are big in Austria ;-)

  • I didn't know he was Welsh :O

  • @Samica2093 welsh ? he's austrian ! :D

  • "We get Oprah in Austria. And she's still called Oprah!" What a guy. :)

  • @praevius

He said "Oper" and meant "Opera"...

  • @Tareki1000 He did not.

  • @praevius

Believe me, he did. We DON'T get Oprah in Austria and never did. Even if you don't understand German, you must clearly see that it wouldn't make sense for him to say what you have quoted. Why shouldn't Oprah be still called Oprah? Opera on the other hand is what Austria (especially Vienna) is famous for.

  • @Tareki1000 Again, no. They are talking about Oprah, the host. If he ment the musical artform, he'd correctly have said "it" instead of "she". Austria isn't famous for opera - Italy would take that prize - but more for Mozart, waltzes (not the Cristopher kind), architecture, Freud and the Von Trapp family.

The interview Waltz did with American talk shows were mostly condescending in tone, it would make sense for him to remind them that Oprah remains Oprah, even in Austria.

  • @praevius

Do you even speak German? Why don't you just take my word for it? Waltz has studied Opera at the Max Reinhard Seminar in Vienna. Of course Italy is more important than Austria when it comes to opera - nontheless Vienna and the "Wiener Opernhaus" is the captial of this art form in the German speaking world.

Waltz clearly played with the words here. As you know, the German articles are gendered. So "the opera" is "die oper", just like "die oprah".

  • @Tareki1000 I speak German, yes.

  • @praevius it`s called Oper in germany.

  • @praevius he said: "And she´s still called Oper!" which is the german word for opera!

  • is he really divorced o_o

oh my, may i go on a date for a night with him?

  • damn nazi

  • @waxrock fuck off u damn basterd

  • @jwanter fuk u hes nazi therfor bad

  • @waxrock lmao, haha you are such a dork...

  • @veteran501 You're the bigger dork, dork.

  • "sorry, picked the wrong father" ahaha!

that's what my dad would say to me.

  • perfect played role as NAZI

  • well,... i'm from austria.

and jimmy kimmel is the best.

    just saying :)

  • thats typical, now he's famous, everyone thinks he's sooooo HOT!

-.- don't understand me wrong, but famousness makes sexy and that sucks

  • <333 aww i loveeee him hahahahaha aww love this trololol

  • I LOVE CHRISTOPH WALTZ!!!

seriously amazing and he is so incredibly funny on screen and candid!! not to mention he is an incredible actor.

oh goodness, though, if i were his son, i would be embarassed out of my socks after der humpink. haha he's daring and versatile at the very least. haha

  • Haha Jimmy keeps making those bad jokes and Christoph is like WTF hahaha i love it

  • "sorry picked the wrong father" SO FREAKING BRILLIANT! :D

This most brilliant man I've ever laid eyes on. :)

  • I LOVE HIM! is that creepy? he is as old as my dad.

it's sort of funny how he played a big nazi and his son is studying to be a rabbi.

  • I like how the sheep have 3 ribbons each

  • @thegov08 haha i didnt even notice that

  • Comment removed

  • @therealhankmoody der Humpink is nothing. the word doesn't exist.

at least i havent heard of it and i'm german

  • the next gouverneur of kalifornia >.<

  • what a boss

  • Who / what the fuck is the Humpink ? !? !? !

  • Eine kleine viel-what what Gitarre?

  • @DellusMaximus "Eine kleine hawaiische Gitarre"

  • @DellusMaximus "eine kleine viersaitige hawaiische gitarre"

    a small, four-stringed Hawaiian guitar

  • I watched this movie for the first time with no knowledge of who Chrisolph Watlz was or that he won the Oscar. (I don't watch or follow award shows.) And, needless to say, I was amazed by his performance. Christoph Waltz is one of those rare breeds of people who are incredibly and awe-strikingly charming, universally liked, and for lack of a better description ... just so fucking awesome. I wish I had that quality ;p Christoph Waltz ... you are a God.

  • For some reason, Der Humpink reminds me of Michael Scott from The Office.

  • i cant wait to see him play August in Water for Elephants!!!

  • @10kingstreet

Dein Deutsch ist doch absolut okay!

  • LOL

  • Hey, but thats a fact- Waltz got really ignorated when he was still acting in Europe. He was known in certain informed quarters, but he didn't got promoted like he shoud have got.

  • @The1411991 That's Europe.

  • @The1411991

That's actually not true. Waltz was pretty known in the german speaking area as a great actor, the thing is that we just don't think great actors are GODS like americans do!

  • @oldfurniture

kannst ruhig deutsch schreben, bin eh Österreicher...

  • @oldfurniture , its a testimony to the empty, vacuous lives we lead. Vicariously living through iconic images rather than learning about the world around us.

  • @oldfurniture

lol, you guys arent that way because foreign actors and movies blow compared to american ones

  • @oldfurniture that is very true. We dont even have these kinds of talk shows with celebrities on tv and if they are, they are far less popular

  • @oldfurniture haha. ur usrname's cool. Old furniture. mine's Torin March

  • @TorinMarch cool, my name is kloputzer112

  • @oldfurniture Not everybody thinks actors are "GODS", It varies from person to person. Maybe because German films suck dick.

  • @Nogard229

Das boot and Der Untergang for example are brilliant. films. Those films don't suck...dick.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nogard229 The White Ribbon was an amazing film...won the oscar, palm d'ore and bafta...

  • @jazz4 Actually, The White Ribbon didn't win an Oscar. still an impressive piece of art though.

  • @oldfurniture So so true about americans thinking that way. I dont. I just would like to meet famous actors and ask if i could be in one of their upcoming movies. :D

  • @TorinMarch ONE MUST WORK HARD TO BECOME ULTRA FILM STAR SILLY.

  • @oldfurniture You just think musicians are God's, such as David Hasselhoff or Rammstein.

  • @ebtricks I think Rammstein is much more popular in the US... and there is no such thing as a "David Hasselhoff"... never heard of him before... stfu! ;)

  • @DerAggel 1 in the German billboard charts, 1 in Europe, 13 in America.

  • @oldfurniture heh you mean like "hollywood" thinks. nice generalization.

  • @oldfurniture kudos!

  • @oldfurniture Well thank you for that ignorant comment.

    JIMMY KIMMEL you rock :)

  • His son is in Israel....hmmm....Jimmy Kimmel and Letterman are also Jewish...I'm beginning to see a pattern here....

  • @strainuldinvalearegi Jimmy Kimmel is Catholic. You're full of holes ...................and ellipses.

  • @strainuldinvalearegi Yeah, I see the pattern, you're an asshole.

  • @strainuldinvalearegi you really are a dope. Kimmel's middle name is Christian and Letterman is a midwest Presbyterian.

  • @strainuldinvalearegi jimmy kimmel is ITALIAN. Now there is no pattern

  • I want a red bow now

  • lmaoooooooooooooo Trololol

  • Can't wait for the Green Hornet!

  • Actually for not finding that hilarious, I think that puts you in the VAST majority of lame.

  • Ray William Jonhson

  • you are loved in germany, jimmy

  • his suit cracks me up

  • he is a great actor!!!

    very...very...very....BEAUTIFUL!!!

"The Humpink" is a parody of another youtube video, "Trololo" There is more humor in "The Humpink" video which has commentary from Christoph Waltz.

  • bad translation program, buddy ;)

  • @OptimusPorn but in my opinion, even if you don't know what it's based on, "Der Humpink" stands is hilarious nevertheless as it stands for itself. after all, it's not a metaphor.

  • HEIL CHRISTOPH WALTZ

  • i love him !!! he is so great!!!!

  • that humping shit was sooo random lmao

  • LOLOLOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That literally just made my life. Christoph Waltz + Trolololol = catastrophic win.

  • what the heck is he saying..about oprah in austria..where..???

  • @SPeitsch You thought Jimmy was serious? Hopefully Christoph didn't.

  • He has a beautiful smile!

  • ooh god he loves to hear himself talk! let the ACTOR talk i mean he's answering Waltz questions

  • He did a good Job playing SS Colonel Landa in the film Inglorious bastards, he truly played an evil man very convincingly. I am glad his character was marked at the end of the film.

  • we dont really have oprah in autria - there might be some way to watch her show but she is not in she is not in the austrian or german cultural mind.

the whole "she reigns the world" is a pandering to US minds and US jokes - which is logical in his position

  • it ´s not possible to recieve US TV channels in Europe.. i dont know what Walz talkin about... I think he tryed to make an linguistic joke coz oprah and opera..... Viena is famous for Opera....

  • Depends on the country and your satellite provider.

  • @Lagerfeld2008 Thank God, finally somebody has enough brains to understand CW's jest about Oprah and opera. He made such a joke before, in the Leno interview when he was asked about how many languages he speaks. He said he fakes Italian, taking Latin-based words and make it soud like opera - Leno didn't really get it, I think.

  • he's so fucking cool

  • nope, oprah isn't on tv in austria and germany

  • your stupid for watching this for 4 minutes if you've never heard of him

  • well sorry for insulting you

  • @Yeremyah2by2 Oh, you don't have anything against Jews? A breath later you refer to him as "the Jew" and start rambling on about your crackpot conspiracy theories... Please fuck off.

  • dehumping

  • wow so crazy

  • jimmy...i am from austria..and i've been watching ya show since 2 years... u rock!

  • @pipink "for 2 years"

  • @omir1 --maybe since she was 2---?? xD...none of my bussiness...just wanted to say sth shtupid

  • @pipink go österreich :D

  • christoph waltz in a lederhosen. love.

  • Yeah that was really funny!

btw: it's "in Lederhosen" you wouldn't say "in a pants" either

  • LMAO @ when they were talking about oprah watching over everybody and christoph was like "we're-we're safe"

  • very great!
