There are many people in my family with fragile x. 5 out of 7 of my dad's siblings have it + a few cousins. My grand parents have passed away but everyone's still being very well taken care of; they lead a good life. They are wonderfull people, very straight forward and loving. To the parents of kids with fragile x; don't worry too much, the challenges are great but absolutely not impossible to conquer.

I have two adult children with Fragile-X Syndrome and it has been extremely difficult and heart wrenching! I only hope that one day there be a cure to give our kids what other children have!
