i got this gun in the mail just yesterday and it shoots perfectly fine, but the blow back doesn't function. The blow back works when it dry fires, but when bb's are being fed the bolt just stays in one position. How do i correct this? Thanks

I own Cyma's new AKM, the CM048M, and my fixed stock broke recently. I've decided I want to switch to a Romanian Folding stock, but I can't for the life of me find a replacement stock or one that looks like it'll fit.

I just got this gun today seems very nice. Blowback is nice and crisp especially when dry firing. Personally for someone like me who is a small person the side folding stock and grip are GREAT. Can't wait to use this in a game!

@TheMoominTroII no it doesn't. the blow back in connected to the piston, so it doesn't. blow back never, pneumatic or piston style, doesn't drain the battery any faster.

This gun, the AIMS AK, was used during the "North Hollywood shootout" at Bank of America in 1997. Two robbers, with kevlars and armor piercing bullets and their AIMS, stormed the bank and then when the police arrived they went outside and started shooting at everything. I think allmost every cop in the area were called there, and eventually even SWAT, to take them down. Both of the robbers died, after 44 minutes of intense shooting! True and brutal story, just wanted to tell..

i have this same gun, and it was 400 fps otb, after 2 months of playing with it, it dropped to 380fps.. i changed the spring with the techpro 130 and the piston with the titanium teeth, its almost a year since the set up and its still 480fps i think because of its blowback system thats attached to the charging handle when the charging handle closes there is no pressure on the spring.. its very tricky to open this gun though..

Hey, good review and nice gun definitely getting it but i have a few problems one being i've heard this thing doesnt accept any mags other than what it comes with and that it wont work with conversion kits(not that i would buy it just to take off that nice handguard but if the wood wears down or breaks it would be nice to replace) so if you could fill me in on that i can buy with confidence.

crazyncman, the reason the fps is up so high is because of the fat that they are completely new springs, they havnt been properly worn in yet. i dont wanna be one of the assholes that loves to prove other wrong, but just a heads up. gread vids man. keep it up

@saldman67 You are obviously pretty new. The fps is not going to change that much after you use it a bit. My M4 has only dropped 15 fps in 3 YEARS of use!

With MadBull Springs, the FPS will not change at all atfer more than 100.000 Shots, and with some cheap Springs, the FPS drops rapidly atfer a few thousand shots. I dont think that that is the case on the cyma however. Probably they cronoed it with the more apropriate .25g BBs

@robotsant77 the the gun apart and take the gearbox out, once the gearbox is out there should be a gearset that is on the left and right of it, rearange the set and fidle with it until it is a tight fit. then put the gun back together and test it out. at which point your ready to kick ass

@robotsant77 I have the same problem. when you open it up you can"t tighten it down. but gluing it in the inside of that spot helps a little. another thing i do is but a little tape between the selector switch and the body of the gun, seems to fix the problem.
