And when Austin hit Rock with that chair, they just went absolutely crazy. Back when WWE crowds got excited over a suplex. Nowadays, they wouldn't get excited if Eddie Guerrero came back to life and appeared on RAW (bad example but that's how sad WWE crowds are nowadays).
A lot of people say Stone Cold and the Rock are the best. But Mankind got thrown off a cage, choke slammed through a cage, slammed on a pile of tacks, tombstoned...and that was all in one match.
What do I think? I think that you should not even read the haters view points, yes normally when a song is put over a video it sucks. But the song choice is always obnoxious. This song was perfect for this video. I am going to watch it again and again because I love it that much. GREAT JOB!!!!!

I watched the first hour of Nitro and it DID seem interesting, Raw came on and they plug'd Mankind vs. HHH with Shane O'Mac guest ref, I went turned back to Nitro & they said Mick Foley wins their title. I wanted to see how Foley gets a title shot when hes originally schedule to face HHH, so I watched Raw and seen it happen. I loved it! Great time to be a wrestling fan.
I also loved how people who would've watched Nitro tuned in to see this instead because Bishoff had to give it away and they didn't see The Finger Poke of Death otherwise WCW would've been dead sooner.
I have 26 years and I almost start to mourn to see this video and see everything that was mick foley would suffer to be WWE champion foley're the best hope next year is in the hall of fame wwe

I like this match, and I think The Rock and Foley did well. The only part that bugs me is that for so many years (and even now with his guest appearances) Steve Austin has to have the last word and the show has to end with him putting an exclamation point on an even that didn't involve him that much. This match should have been about Foley, so Austin shouldn't have been the one to make the decisive finishing move, much less help Foley make the cover.

Coachman wasn't even close to the WWF when this happened. And yes IT IS the WWF. This is hands down the greatest title change in pro wrestling history. I remember watching it live, Even without Sciovane and WCW doing what they did, The energy surrounding this title win makes it, Wrestling was never this popular, and will take a long way to get this way. Coachman wasn't even close to the WWF when this happened. And yes IT IS the WWF. This is hands down the greatest title change in pro wrestling history. I remember watching it live, Even without Sciovane and WCW doing what they did, The energy surrounding this title win makes it, Wrestling was never this popular, and will take a long way to get this way. These truly were the good days.

Yes i know i was very annoyed at that! No superstar in history will ever get as loud a pop as Stone Cold did back in that day or on that special night. The pop was the loudest ever when Mankind pinned The Rock
