Yes, it truly is horrible that some person made this as a senior project to show his proficiency in electrical engineering for the Naval Academy. Obviously the whole point was for this person to make a flawless, self-playing guitar. Quick, let us criticize the quality of the music produced and give little to no thought towards the amount of intelligence this feat must have required.

A bunch of self taught mechanical engineers perfected machines to play violins over 100 years ago so what piece of the puzzle is missing here, research maybe? Too many students tend to 'demonstrate' more than do these days and justify it in the name of being students.
