This is by far not a big boss battle, = P try fighting Ceaseless Discharge without the glitch... that thing will remind you that Santa never loved you and how you are going to die because you touch yourself.

@sonicadx There is a lot of controversy about whether or not it is a glitch or not, there isnt a boss battle ever presented in demon souls or in the rest of dark souls that has a (Instant kill) death like that, however it looks like he jumps at you, which means a planned animation... however why make the hand attackable if he is going to fall anyways? Its a pretty big grey area between a glitch and one hell of a tip.

@kevinxia19880114 ring both bells there is a merchant at the top of sen's fortress, unless you want poison or fire arrows, then just defeat the capra demon and you'll find a guy them in the tunnel on the bridge (where the rat is, beyond the locked gate) in firelink shrine

Totally didn't realize that these guys were upstairs in the church, so I was just running around everywhere else and farming souls, etc. etc., long story short, I came to fight these guys finally with a Great Axe +5 and SL 59. 3 Shotted them both. No tail axe for me =(

If you managed to reach the boss fight, then you should be a good enough level. It would be way easier if you saved Knight Solaire first and then engage the boss. Knight Solaire should be easy to find and you are able to summon him right before you enter the door. Just let him engage him while you use your bow or just attack him at the same time. The second one usually breathes fire, well at least for me. Hope this helps

And it looks like they're not both going to rush in on the melee, which makes it a bit less hectic, I think. The second one seems to prefer staying at range and using the fire breath attack, which means you can control his position fairly simply while dealing with his melee brother. It's also nice that they don't seem to take flight much - nothing made me madder than when the first Maneater had like ten health left and then decided to go fly around for five ****ing minutes.

@unconsidered1 They've said its one big connected world. There a fireplaces/camps that act as checkpoints. You lvl up and manage your character there, I assume you can teleport from fire to fire as well.

This game is going to be more difficult than DS this gameplay was just a leveled up character fighting this boss which was probably altered to be easier just so they could make it a quick video showing the game off. For real gameplay search dark souls gameplay leaked and look for the 8 part series and granted the guy playing is pretty horrible but the game shows a great deal of difficulty.

You know, I never minded it in Demon's Souls, I even enjoyed it, it was satisfying. But the sound you hear when you make contact with an enemy, that insane sound of copious amounts of blood gushing out of a wound, just gets annoying after you notice it, you even hear the dripping of it, it sounds like it's going on forever!
