  • DC subs= Neighboors moving.

  • hehe kala ko pinoy to..lng ya..!!haha

  • pake sagot nmn po tanong ko bossing salamat..napakalas po tagala..

  • boss saan po kayo nakabili ng dc..?kano po boss..?tapos anong amps pinadala nyo dyan..?salamat po..

  • niiice

  • the port is too damn big for those level 4's...poor cones can hardly move, is better you put it in a wall instead of boxes like those, its killing the performance right there...hope the coils still good in them though.

That's how many square inches of port you have there?

  • @ModzVonXyborg Do you have any idea what you actually said?? Why is a wall actually better? Is it really better and in what circumstances? You cannot see the depth of the boxes, so I doubt you can guess the tuning.. If it wasn't obvious from the pieces of 4x4s stuffed / clamped in the ports, they were designed for SPL use only.. Me playing music with them was just for kicks.. (the cone excursion was very controlled and well within the suspension limits.. just fyi)

  • @3stagevtec ok first off...sub up and port up....big no no, I don't care if you hit 150...big deal, my team two 12's hit 153 at 32hz in usaci a few months and to boot its a half wall...why would a wall be better cause you would have more pressure control than a box like that....check it out, the ply you use is too thin, the baffle is weak, the port is way to big, the cones can hardly move with music....better you go back to the drawing board.

  • @ModzVonXyborg Wow, now I know you have NO idea what your talking about.. I know some dedicated SPL cars in my country who have hit 158 - 159dB with 2 10"s in ultimate builds.. and they used sub / port forward designs. Sub and port orientation is really just the small picture here. There's alot more to SPL than that.

Ply I use? it's resin soaked mdf, internally braced.. Baffle too weak? it's 2.25" thick. Cone hardly moves = Excellent control! duh, it's an SPL box..

  • @3stagevtec proof or you blowing smoke up my ass

  • @ModzVonXyborg No smoke man, i'm serious.. Ask any knowledgeable speaker box designer, not your everyday self proclaimed SPL expert.. Have you ever seen some of the more serious SPL only walled vehicles? They use wayy more port area than me, but those enclosures can only play a very narrow bandwidth. The reason my subs appear to move little is because of the high port tuning freq, excursion is most controlled at the port tuning.. most of the bass in the music was right around port tuning..

  • @ModzVonXyborg What team did you refer to when you said 'your team hit 153dB @ 32Hz'? I know we don't have USACi here in Trinidad...

  • @3stagevtec team OSC...aka...team GPI (groundpounderzinc)

  • what the name of the sound please

  • @Dillon3654 You're a fucking idiot.

  • which country is this... i see right hand drive suzuki

  • @aidune from San Fernando.. : )

  • THAT SHIT BANGIN!!!! BUT HOW IS IT THAT YOU "COMPLETELY" DROWN OUT YA HIGHS??? IM FROM FT.LAUDERDALE, FLA... WE PUT LOUDSPEAKERS IN THE GRILLS TO MATCH OR COME CLOSE TO THE HIGHS...... SHIT SOUND GOOD, THOUGH!!!! GOOD WORK , HOMIE.!!!!! P.S., I HAVE A 93 FORD EXPLORER WITH 4-15"s ON 5,500 watt KOLE AUDIO MONO BLOCK WITH 1,000 watts ON A LOUDSPEAKER. I THINK IT SOUND LIKE SOMETHIN DECENT. BUT YOU KILLIN EM!!!!!

  • effin love this system!!

  • суки ...я сам откапал....

    danity_kane_-_show_stopper_diddy_and_yung_joc_remix

  • I might sound freeking retarded but would one of those subs fit in a 2003 ford ranger extended cab? if I made the box smaller..

  • @DDFJ1230 I believe it's been done before.. shouldn't be too difficult to properly fit one in the back..

  • @3stagevtec

    Alright cool

    thanks man

  • @DDFJ1230 Keep watchin my channel and you will see 2 of these fit into a GMC sonoma extended cab.

  • @DDFJ1230 you need to make the box according to spec lol not where it fits

  • @queensny1991

Yeah no shit.. I was planning on making it according to the specs I dont even on a ranger I have a camaro which will be 12 times as better when it is restored..

  • @DDFJ1230 ive actually seen 4 18's in a s10 and to my knowledge rangers are larger than s10's, so yes

  • @miketheredneckable im about to put one in the back of a tacoma extended cab (96) im having a baby and i dont have room for my two tens so im having a custom box made to just sit on one side and have the other side for the carseat. you should check out my curent system while it lasts. hopefully the DC lvl 4xl 15 wont disapoint.

  • @DDFJ1230 Honestly man, I have 2 DC 15s as well, and youd be very lucky to. They're much deeper than you'd think. Good luck to you tho!

  • nieghbors goin to be pissed!!!1lol keep boomin

  • thats loud!!!

  • what is the best system (subs, amp and radio face) under 1000 dollars

  • SONG?????

  • philippines

  • hahaha nice!

  • dang that shit's slammin.

  • i want a box like this.....the bigger the box the better???

  • @MARTRELL17 Bigger box = deeper sound

  • @MARTRELL17 the bigger the box, the sloppier

  • @CoupeDeville23 SUCK IT!

  • damn...how many cubic inch is those port's

  • @1deanwdaniel 111 sq.in port area each and tuned to around 41Hz at the time.. it was mainly used for SPL, hence the high tuning..

  • @3stagevtec what kinda #'s u pull'n.?

  • @1deanwdaniel This setup was in the 151dB range with ~3000W but I never tried to better it..

  • @3stagevtec very nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think i just s*** myself

  • Damn those look like 18's honestly.

  • they are hitting at the same time how are they canceling?

    looks very good to me

  • que mearda sou mais o tornado dc audio nao faz nem quebrar cd

  • how would you compare the audiopipes to these. I know there not going to be any where near as good but do they get loud still for 2 15s.

  • @carguyzo6 The Audiopipes are still very impressive subs, especially when you consider their cost vs the DC's.. The DC's with their stronger motor etc have more impact in the bass and will find the bass tends to travel further..

The Audiopipes can get similarly loud inside the vehicle, but it's when you take a few steps back, you will notice the DC's taking the lead..

  • @3stagevtec

"The Audiopipes can get similarly loud inside the vehicle, but it's when you take a few steps back, you will notice the DC's taking the lead.."

I am sure your neighbors windows noticed that too... LOL :)

  • @ExpertOfSound I was playing some slowed music and the women at the hairdresser next door to us thought we were experiencing an earthquake when all the glass in the building started rattling.. Good times..

  • @carguyzo6 thank you very much I think I have made a decision on what my next subs will be. thanks for the help

  • izrud radva6 brat :D:D

  • haahaha

  • I bet the bass is cancelling!

  • @turbosucks I bet you dont have any videos or know anything about sound!

atleast I know im right about one thing. (if you readers agree, thumbs up!)

  • @SXSic Look at you! " if you readers agree thumbs up" do need friends buddy? Lol! Listen go learn some more about psycho acoustics, low pressure waves, just looking at how it's set up I already knew and u kno that too so don't fool yourself try proving things to yourself b4 u try convincing me! This is a I'm right ur wrong situation, so try doing it right or find another hobby! Leave the big sounds for d big dawgs!

  • @turbosucks but you have no idea of the depth of my enclosures or the frequency at which I burp at.. yet you claim the bass is cancelling. just saying..

  • @3stagevtec Hatch backs wagons SUVs all have d same problem unless u create a diffusion chamber which is sealing right around the enclosure preventing d rear waves to move faster than d front waves creates cancelation and where d enclosure is at d moment doesn't load to gain what u call cabin gain which can give u at least 3 db increase, that's y most ppl face d subs backwards or facing upwards. Just some food 4 thought! Trial n error d best way to learn the vehicle's acoustic sweet spot.

  • @3stagevtec isnt this man funny? he tries to talk shit about me when it comes to box building. lol

I might not be able to afford nice subs, but I know how to build boxes.

also, im thinking about buying some TXXs, how much power would you recommend I run at the least to get some potential out of these? (budget build)

  • @SXSic Hey u seems like u like car audio but calling yourself a "box builder ace" that's nt such a great reference to showcase ur "Talent" no sence being mean to u about it but u got a long long way to go to b taken seriously! Try double sheeting ur enclosure, makes a major difference if u understand resonance. And moving ur enclosure further back. But I guess u know that by now!

  • @turbosucks walls on the boxes I do for customers are usually about 2 inches thick, I always brace my boxes with wooden dowels and I use resin to cut resonance, I also use melamine foam in my monitors to lower the ugly 200hz peak. (its unavoidable in large rooms, melamine in the box cuts it out)

all of the ports I do for customer boxes are braced via double stacking the ports to increase stiffness, I use titebond 3 on all my enclosures.

    Yeah, I know my shit.

  • gotta love the dc's making neighbors bitch all over the world

  • song?

  • @CHRISmonsterBOOS Video Title...

  • song?

  • Wo to much air not enough SQ. what is that tuned to?

  • @master9716 Those subs were mainly used for SPL and having fun.. My daily bass is a RF T1 tuned 34Hz..

  • Comment removed

  • nice but what mids and highs do you have?

  • @Crazycaraudio Thanks.. I'm running CDT components powered by a RFT600.4. Processing is from an Audiocontrol DQXS. <- really great unit!

  • what song?????please

  • What is the title song? please tell us

  • @muzyk15 what a question.. did you read the video title??

  • Mids/highs sounded great, and it got nasty as fuck (meaning good), when it was hitting the lows. Wow. Interesting port location too.

  • wath the music?

  • thanks

  • how much do one of these cost?

  • @seanbryant25 check the DC Audio forum on the SMD website, you will usually have to email Rusty, the company's owner for quotes..

  • @seanbryant25 a level 4 15 will be about $300 shipped

  • @detboy600 how much does a lvl 5 or 6 18'' sub cost

  • @seanbryant25 I don't think the '6' is out as yet..

  • Nice shit man dc is where its at.

  • what kind of wood is that?

  • @duval757 plain MDF with a layer of resin on it.

  • @3stagevtec where you get the resin from and doesnt that make the box stronger

  • @duval757 I got it from a marine store here in Trinidad. The resin soaks into the mdf and seals up all the pores in the wood. MDF is a porous material.

It also protects the wood against water damage..

  • @3stagevtec o fa real, thanks..........i'm gonna go find some this weekend

  • i wonder why your neighbor bitched at you hehe dc fuck yeah!

  • probley the best vid on youtube for the level 4 15''s

  • Was your box made for SPL or daily?

  • yuh ever measure how much DB yuh neighbor mouth is.....lmao!!!!!

  • 5/5 stars for the cause man! ive been kicked out of places... lol

  • what you pushin em with

  • 2 Sundown SAZ1500Ds.. which i tested to deliver up to 1800Wrms each!

  • fucking 1800?! what the fuck voltage are you pushing into them

  • haha, it's a standard 12V system. The amps were wired to 0.5ohms impedance each to get that power output..

dig through my other videos, you will see the Sundown power test.. read the video subject for the test results..

  • yea bro that shit slammin hard as fuck even the gate shaking it must be powerful to shake tha heavy ass gate.....whats the specs on the box tuned at?

  • What yo hittin on the TL

  • did a 150.5dB once on the TL..

  • that shits nasty!

  • dc audio is my next choice. that is nice

  • very good choice

  • loving the port blocker dude. Ace subs.

  • i wouldnt mind being your neighbour nah,

da showstopper tune is rell bring out some nice lows.

  • Nice

  • NIce man, Im liking it!!

  • NICE MAN!!

  • ridiculous, hands down

  • heard dis in hillview car show, :o dam loud, almost didnt recognize it without d box a pizza lol

  • I was wondering, the 4x4's are to tuned for daily. With the 4x4's out for spl? Those subs seem to have more xmax than most spl subs. Nice !!

  • correct, but the 4x4"s were used to temporarily lower the tuning freq to make these videos as this setup was mainly used for SPL..

  • thats what i do with my new box also. SPL wise my 10's are killing anything below 40hz atm. believe it or not i can make 20hz tones audible now=)

  • you know you got ting when the neighbor a few houses down the street finds the music is too loud!!

  • nice system bro...i like de neighbor quarrellin too...sometimes i get de same reaction lol
