I didnt think much about the importance of blood donating at all, i am 41 years old now but when i was 40 yrs old i really realized its importance. On August 3rd 2009, my 12 year old son rode his bike thru a red light and was run over by 2 suvs driving in opposite directions. As a result, my son lost; 1 kidney, 1/2 his liver, broke his pelvis and lost 46 pints of blood thru surgery. My son survived-plz visit my website miraclecomeback 3ws in front and dot com at end
@MiracleComeBack I know what you mean, blood donation is hugely important. I have been thinking of donating blood for a while. Stories like yours are an inspiration and a reason why much more people should donate.
@qukai000 He was joking a little bit. He said in Chinese "I'm 17 years old" But after the kids laughed at him, he responded "Ok, ok, I'm a little bit older than 17"
@kerushiidesu I did watch an interview where he recounts a time where he visited the doctors for a checkup. When it came time to draw blood, he said he screamed so loud, the whole hospital could hear him. When he was walking, he felt so embarassed. :-D Hilarious!
Lol it's donating blood(xie) not snow(xue)...guess no one had the balls to correct JackieXD

@Wyzzkyd: Haha, a bit of a late reply from me. The character 血 can be read as xie or xue, it depends on the context that's it used :)
But I agree, even if he did used it incorrectly, no-one wanted Jackie's foot in their face, so they kept quiet. :-P
