I have since sold this machine but if I recall correctly, it took about 1.7 liters of oil (almost 2 quarts) There should be a little window in the gearbox where you can look through and see the oil. Fill it up to the line on the window
I just bought a Kawasaki Bayou and I tested out the Prarie and what surprised me was that I liked the Bayou better because, well I can handle a manual or a semi-auto better than an auto and it was much faster and I like the more compact-ness I guess.
i just got one the day before yesterday, and on the front lwft spring arm it says model:KLF 300cc, but idk what the y6ear model it is, its a 300 all time all wheel drive, can somebody please get back to me if you know how i can find out, it has the two front headlights, and the two rear taillights
I have a 2001 model, they are basically the same from like 87 through 2003 I think. The older ones have bigger stickers on them, you could call your Kawasaki Dealer with the Serial# and i'm sure they could tell ya. Good luck with your new quad. They are great for slow trail riding and working around the place. But if you get out riding with guys on the newer bigger ATV's your gonna have to push yours all the time just to keep them in sight.
