David is a great fella, he's done me many a good turn during my Security career, and I've learnt an awful lot from him. I've also been on the receiving end of some of his moves too!!

Great to see Davis Ruben in action, i remembered when i practiced for a few years 1998 -2000 for him first in west Hampstead , and later for a while in his new dojo. ,though i only practised for a short time, i learn t a lot witch i keep in mind in my present aikido practice. David Rubens was wery open minded , and i felt welcomed from day one. To see this video clip, brings back a lot of happy memories.

Watching this video makes me proud to be a student of Rubens Sensei. It's been a while since we trained together and i want to thank him for this patience, for i would not even be half of what i am today in Aikido without his help. He is a true mentor and always will. Osu!!!!

I used to attend Sensei Rubens' dojo in West Hampstead London in the early 90's and he was a magician then and I can only imagine that his status among the Aikido fraternity of the world now is almost god like. Domo gozaimashte !!
