My 55 LW5600 3D Cinema doesn't play the 3D? can any one help, what do I need ? I have the glasses, I put the mode in 3D and the movie says the tv is not in 3D mode . Also for cox OnDemand free samples of there 3D and it says your tv isn't in 3D. Please any one help
Cinema 3D TVs are great. I've seen 3d demos on many tvs and this is by far the best 3d tv. I saw the LW6500 model and 2d and 3d both look amazing. I can't wait to get one for myself.
Hi, Ive got one of these cinima tvs, i was wondering if i need to suscribe to sky or do i just need a hd set up box as far as i know converts from 2d to 3d, please help!!
@ChaiAngad THANK U FOR THAT INFORMATIVE PIECE BRO .. DAT HELPS .. WELL I M A SAMSUNG FAN ACTUALLY... NOT FOR 3D THOUGH JUS NORMAL SCREENS.. BUT LG SEEMS TO BE CUTTING THROUGH ALL KINDSA NOISE AND COMING ACROSS AS A VERY CREDIBLE PRODUCT IN ERVYWAY AND ALL.. SO DATS WHY RECENTLY TOOK NOTICE OF IT AND STUFF.. ANYWAYS THANKS FOR DAT PIECE OF WISDOM DUDE..
Getting the 32 inch cinema 3D TV in a couple of weeks I checked it out today and honestly I don't see a different between active and passive if anything the passive TV I looked at today looked far superior to the top of the range Samsung and Panasonic TV's I've recently checked, honestly I think Passive is the way forward.
@manic221 Passive have little to no flicker and glasses are cheaper.
the only downside to passive is that the rrsolution is Half as much as Active PER EYE.
but since both eyes would be getting 540p they would add up to 1080p and as the brain recieves the collective vision of both eyes your still going to be watching 1080p only.
@fuclesh thanks for making that clear :) got my Passive set a few weeks ago really love it :) and the 3D converter on it is incredible like i can't believe how could it is lol
Had the LG demo last week, first to see it in Australia. AWSOME! no flicker no headache $1 per set of glasses, 20 of us watching all over the room. Glasses cost $20 Active would have cost $2000. Look up the new LG magic wand for surfing internet on the TV, use it just like a wee remote. :) score 1 for LG.

I hope LG doesn't go the way of Samsung and Sony and release these highly glossy non-matte screens which are a complete disaster, they look pretty in showrooms but in a living room the reflections are horrible.
No mention about the d2342 and other cinema 3d pc monitors???
Still, cinema 3d is far better than conventional.....take that from the point of view of someone who has actually used them both many times! :)

WHICH ONES BETTER AMONG THE TWO.. LG OR SAMSUNG??...
REXXBAILEY 7 months ago
@REXXBAILEY Depends... If u want a stylish and edgeless glossy screen go for Samsung.
I must say tht if 3D picture quality is important to u then u must go for LG.
but if normal 2D picture Samsung may be a little better than the LG.
I too had long time deciding between LG and Samsung. But at the end I think i'll go for the LG cinema 3D
because I dont want headaches and I dont want to hurt my eyes with Shutter glasses.
and about the smart function they are similar, but I love how LG remote is.

10% can't see with 3d glasses? Now they can see with naked eye? What? You still need glasses. They just don't charge and sync is all.

This great because 10% of the people in the world can´t see anything with those 3D glasses, now they can see with the naked eye.
