You obviously don't know the history of Christianity. There's been times where people had to PAY off their sins to clergymen. You read it right; people had to pay money to clergymen so they would reduce the time they had to spend in hell. There was a certain amount of days in hell for doing something wrong, and a day off had a certain price... Religions also have good parts, but those are already covered by law and common sense.

That's how religion started - the search to power. If you look how many people are religious, and how much power clergymen have you can say they succeeded their mission. Just show love. If your Christian its a turn off to alot of people, because they think you will shove religion down their throat. Alot of Christians forget about their roots and how they were unbelievers. I remember i thought the bible was written by hallucinating dude's in the desert short on water and sense. It is by far one of my most favorite and it brings tears to my heart every time I hear it because I am being faced with a challenge of civilan and soldier. I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (Feb. 28), I played this for Sunday School assembly. The lesson was Matthew 26: 6-13. It is where a woman entered the home of Simon the Leper and broke the jar of perfume and annointed Jesus' head with it. I guess that was her way of standing up for Jesus.

I won't flame Islam, but understand that Christians do not worship Jesus as just a normal man or prophet, we believe he was God as a man (and thus the only Sinless person to ever live). The Trinity consists of the Father (Allah in Islam) the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost. Each separate, but all divine, and all one God. Thus there is no intercessor, since all Three are One.

This video seperates people into christians and non christians. Maybe in a next video you can show that people should be united. Instead of a discussion about god, its better to spend time in making the world a better place even iff it's just a little bit. People who are spreading the word of god and people who are spreading the word that there is no god are BOTH waisting time. Time they could have used doing something that has a clear and positive output for everybody.

Jesus is in the historical record written by the famous Jewish historian Josephus. Josephus was not a believer in Christ. Jesus is mentioned in several official Roman documents of the first century. So if you just show love and how you've grown through actions then people will turn their head and say.."whats up with him? i cant say anything bad about him and it bugs me" and then when they come asking questions thats when you go to scripture and The Lord's promise of salvation. So dont be that aggressive Christian slamming worship down someone's throat, but just show love through actions and words, like Jesus :) and then they will ask and be curious :) God bless everyone! :)

Just show love. If your Christian its a turn off to alot of people, because they think you will shove religion down their throat. Alot of Christians forget about their roots and how they were unbelievers. I remember i thought the bible was written by hallucinating dude's in the desert short on water and sense. But then i took a look at who i was, who Jesus was, and realized i needed him and have been born again ever since growing spiritually :) It's a relationship, not an instant worship :)

Religions could have been invented by people to worship god in a certain manner; but proving religions are wrong does't mean GOD DOESNT EXIST.

This is a great song that we sing at the Wheaton Road Church of Christ! It is by far one of my most favorite and it brings tears to my heart every time I hear it because I am being faced with a challenge of civilan and soldier. I recently joined the ranks of the Michigan Army Reserves and am leaving for basic training in January. I will leave behind my husband, my four year old son and the Church that is dear to me for nearly 6 months

I have read the Torah, the Koran, and the Bible(which was put together by king James) and many of the other Books that were written by Jewish historians and 3rd parties. I have studied only 200 of the worlds 1 million +religions, in order see why people believe what they do. The majority of religions is for personal gain, or power of persons. That is what attracts most people to religions in the first place, but only 2 religions offer redemption and forgive sins. Christianity and Judaism.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (Feb. 28), I played this for Sunday School assembly. The lesson was Matthew 26: 6-13. It is where a woman entered the home of Simon the Leper and broke the jar of perfume and annointed Jesus' head with it. I guess that was her way of standing up for Jesus.

@kb9vib Yes and no. At my church, we sit while singing in Sunday School, but stand for the hymns during the worship service. However, when we used the old Service Book and Hymnal (1965-1979), we sat when we sang the Hymn of the Day.

2. if god does so good by himself why does he need us to stand up for him?

Why not believe all of it? why believe ANY of it? the bible is a book that says the earth is a circle with corners, bats are birds, the moon is a light, that god will punish his people by smearing sh*t in their faces for sacrificing the wrong kind of animal to him(mal2:3),THE BEST PUNISHMENT FOR A RAPIST IS 2 MARRY THE GIRL HE RAPED. i never said that god raped anyone. what i said was the bible that god apparently wrote says that the punishment for a man raping a woman is for the man to pay the womans father 30 peices of silver and then the man has to marry the woman and she is not allowed to divorce him. I have no problem with you or your cousin i am utterly disgusted by your god though and am at a loss as to how a sane rational person could LOVE the bloodthirsty psychopath in the sky. i understand fearing him, but love?

no that stuff is in the bible. seriously. my class is about to start or i would tell you where. basically just start reading from exodus through dueteronomy and numbers. god doesn't only condone horrible things, he purpetrates them.
