@9wrongnumber Don't really know. I like the interface more in Maya then 3Ds Max. I'm gonna learn both but starting with Maya. Good to know both. I read that it's best to know both of them.
hey is it gud to learn many things at once i want to learn everything about visual effects so at present i am trying to learn AE more + blender for modeling and also i am student so i am learning programming + web development i need u r advise
secondly is there any value for VFX artists ? and do they choose people who learn in home by them self ? whats u r goal
@9wrongnumber Everything comes down to your show reel. Just keep working, put up your best work in a show reel to let people see what you can do. That is the best way to try to find work. Doens't matter how you learn things or where you study to get a job as a VFX artist. It's all about how good you are and what you can do. I would help your learning skills if you go to school and you have teachers to help you out. But it's not bad or wrong to learn stuff on your own.
i am soon gonna try this effect :D i seen this in Video co pilot
but now learning blender so i have to manage between this two what about u do u know 3d programming and modeling all bcs i did not seen one of those video
why r u learning MAYA instead 3DS Max what is the difference and how it helps u
