@vergitacha thats not true. taylor was never a great fighter like hopkins but he made the most of his opportunities. remember hopkins was 40 when taylor beat him...hopkins is one of the best middleweights ever - no question - and i feel bad for taylor having fallen since then. hes flawed but he made his mark

Hopkins wasn't kind of treated like a bad guy at this time. He's way more popular know. "Losing" this fight might have been good for his career as it got him out of the MW scene and he's had alot of great fights since leaving the MW scene that's increased his popularity.

Please stop witht he BHOP was robbed stuff, bottom line 3 judges watched two fights, 5 of the 6 saw JT win both fights. 1 Judge saw Hopkins win 1 of the fights...seriously. Many of you are right Hopkins is a legend, he was/is a great champion, he doesn't need you making excuses for him, he lost both fights simple and plain. He didn't do enough to win the rounds period. i like taylor a lot. but he lost this first fight. hopkins almost knocked him out. i don't believe in giving rounds for missed punches. but taylor was a true champion and gave hopkins a rematch that he did a lot better in. i'll never say taylor won the title from hopkins in their first bout, but he was a champion who wasn't afraid of anyone and WANTED to be the best. he didn't think he deserved the title and gave a rematch to prove himself. bigger man than calzaghe

When Hopkins lands his straight right it's just beautiful. That straight right that clocked Taylor twice in a row was so masterfully done. Too bad B-Hop started late but he took it anyway by being the more accurate puncher and landing more punches. Taylor wasn't hitting shit but air. We all know that HBO hates B-Hop so the outcome of both of his fights with Taylor shouldn't be a surprise.
