and one more thing I think than HoN might be a bit more balanced but LoL is f2p (not a huge deal) but it's actually a lot more fun as it adds a lot of character customization and has many cool characters with new ones being added quite frequently; in conclusion HoN might be better for competitive play but theres virtually no scene around it, while LoL isnt and probably never will be anywhere close to being balanced, but its just so much more fun to both watch and play :)

HoN has the shitty community with ragers all over the place like the original dota had, but after filtering through that, its still dota so its fun to play here and there.

LoL, well lol that game is a joke, unlocking character = imba imo, just fun to goof around with friends on that game and you cant beat the free price tag even if its full of micro transactions. Nicer community though

Original dota is too old and lacks it's own engine. Warcraft 3 as a base is not really that functional. So LoL kinda beats DotA now.

LoL is one of THE shittiest games ever in my opinion. I can't believe people can play something so unbalanced as a micropayment-game competitively.

DotA and HoN is in no way balance, but there both teams have the same possible picks as the other team. League of Legends on the other hand...

Sure, one might argue that you can unlock all champions by just playing (or paying), but this costs time and money, same reason WoW isn't balanced.

Anyway, I prefer HoN. DotA is still good, but prefer HoN
