As I said... It was 20 years ago and I'm quite sure I never reach thoose times again. The 17 s run was only the result of a short "comeback";) I just wanted to show that it was possible to go a lot faster than the 26 seconds I found on Youtube:)
1# Yes it can, and the funny part is that 17s is NOT a fast time:) I've done ALOT faster but it was 20 years ago.
2# Don't know anything about that. I just attached my Nokia N95 phone to the lamp at the computer table and filmed for a while. That also will explain why I did not have a timer. But perhaps I give it another go next time a visit my mum and dad where the game is.
@ddaanniieell117 Right so i totally just stumbled upon this video but I'm gonna have to side with the uploader. If you look at the computer monitor, you can see the second hand of the clock moving at normal speed. The light change might just be a result of a shitty camera (you know how those are).
So now you belive me?;) You can tell your mum that time of 17 seconds is FAR from the times that is possible as I also say in the video. I have written down at least 500 runs with faster times than 17. But it still was 20 years ago. Now I'm slow!;)
That was awesome, really nice piece of game! When I was about 12 years old my record was 20 seconds. I could also do it with the feets (to 60 and back again!). Also try that (thats geeky!)
Unfortunately I did not have a video camera then:) Perhaps I will spend a few hours again with the game next time I visit my parents. Even though I'm 36 now I still think I have faster times in me;)
yeah! I spent the whole day playing labyrinth :D, amazing game, have to say, I even broke my old record and clocked 19,26 seconds!! this time i´m not going to stay that time as I know how far the possible time is !!! ;)
VERY impressive. that is definitely how it is done! thank you for sharing! i will work on doing it as fast as i can, and if it is worth posting i will share. again, incredible job!
Thanks to you(tube) the day has finally come for me to realize: My 25 year old personal record (21 sec in both directions) lies far from the best achievable times.
But your Brio board seems to be much faster than the one on which I used to play. In several parts of the course I just had to wait longer for the ball to bridge the distances.
But I'm quite sure that its not about the board. This game I played on is more than 20 years old and made of wood, just like all the other games. But 21 sec is still far better then 99% of the labyrinth players so well done!
My parent's Brio game is over 30 years old, and I simply know that there exist different verions of the board material, the kind of wood used and especially its surface. Believe me, I played your version once and lost the unusual fast-moving ball instantly ;-)
Looks pretty solid to me. I used to be really good at this, but not near that. Maybe 25 seconds or so. Anyway, props to some very impressive skills!

make another video with a real timer in the back
ddaanniieell117 2 years ago
I just did:)
mollberg73 2 months ago
also why dont you have a real timer in the video?????
that timer on the side isnt accurate
ddaanniieell117 2 years ago
why do retards like you try to fool ppl into thinking that your good at this game
1# a ball cant move that fast at such a surface degree
2# unless you have a really expensive camera. no camera will change the lighting settings as fast as yours did in the begining of the vid
3# of all your just lame

@MrAlexhartness It's not bad! But its funny to be acused for cheating, when the filmed run is quite a bit slower then the best possible times:)

the ball is really flying on board!! to 30th hole, you spend only 8,5 seconds, which is amazing because the other 30holes are shorter
kuljetus14 2 years ago
start is amazing, I would love to see your record 13,6 ! I have finished it in 20 seconds in 2 years ago and haven´t played it since....
