I think Barrasso is doing a good job for the state of Wyoming. Unlike most politicians he is actually looking out for the best interests of the state and not just following his political party. He is a prime example of why even though I registered as a democrat when I was 18 a few years ago, I am starting to vote for who promises vote the best. And good job again for voting down the health care bill, fines for not having it is on of many absurd attempted solutions.

Gov. Bill Richardson's office wouldn't answer Journal questions this week regarding the governor's whereabouts and whether he was working in state or traveling outside New Mexico. Turns out Journal reporters weren't the only people left out of the loop. Lt. Gov. Diane Denish, who is supposed to be in charge of state government when the governor is out of state, said Wednesday morning that she didn't know where Richardson was [and] had only a vague idea of when he would be returning.
A record 20 million-plus Americans collected unemployment benefits at some point in 2009, a year that ended with the jobless rate at 10 percent. As the pace of layoffs slows, the number of new applicants visiting unemployment offices has been on the decline in recent months. But limited hiring means the ranks of the long-term unemployed continues to grow, with more than 5.8 million people out of work for more than six months.

calvingeorge,
Are you smucks still blaming President Bush for everything that Obama does wrong. Even democrats are realizing that is getting old. Obama can't rally the troops with that old worn out argument anymore, and neither can you.

Unemployment under Bush, 6.4%
Unemployment under Obama, 10.2%
Deficits quadrupled by Obama
Debt quadrupled by Obama
Obama unconstitutionally takes over car companies, banks, etc. I thought all you dems hated that?? I guess since it's Obama, it's okay?

From George Washington to George Bush America was in less debt than what Obama put us in in ONE YEAR.Every Obama voter needs to remember part of this problen is caused by one admin: the Obama admin
Hahahahaha! For the millionth time, over a $1 trillion of this year's $1.4 trillion deficit was created and budgeted by George Bush. Keep lying about Obama and about whether you served in the military, blogger boy!
For the second straight week, only 29% of U.S. voters say the country is heading in the right direction, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Last weeks right direction finding was the lowest level measured since February.
That's 71% who think it's the WRONG direction toofoo.
The federal government spent $3.5 trillion during President Obama's first year in office. This far exceeds the spending for any other first-year president....
This week, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 218-214 to raise the debt limit to $12.4 trillion. Including all unfunded liabilities, such as Medicare and Social Security, federal obligations have reached $106 trillion.
Just the cost of paying back the borrowing from President Obamas Stimulus plan will cost you $280 per month for the rest of your life.
According to today's Rasmussen report, 58% of Americans approve of waterboarding to secure information from the Christmas Day Pantie Bomber. Yet, President O's Administration refuses to waterboard.

In nearly its final act of the year, the U.S. Senate on Thursday approved a $290 billion increase in the nation's borrowing limit, a move that sets up a contentious debate about the federal government's largesse early in 2010. The additional $290 billion in borrowing ability lifts the total public debt the federal government can hold to around $12.4 trillion and will allow the government to keep borrowing through February.
I didn't claim anything. As with all liberals, you make shit up. I said my saying I was your commander in Afghanistan was a joke. I obviously have no clue who you are so how could I be taken seriously, except by some loser who is harping over and over about something said as a joke.
Bush had not campaigned on blaming his predecessor for all sorts of mishandling of the terror threat.
Obama, OTOH, made criticizing George Bush's handling of the war on terror and telling America how much better he would do. Bush went on after 9/11 to have nearly seven years of safety for America. Obama hasn't been able to go even a single year.
Perhaps if Obama hadn't been quite so haughty about how HE could dull the terrorist rage against us he might be getting a bit more slack right now.
Obama continued to call terrorist Umar Farouk Abdumutallab an "extremist," which is what he called him during his first statement - "an isolated extremist." To be sure, Abdumutallab is an "extremist," but that really does not cover it and Obama knows it. Abdumutallab is an Islamic Jihadist trained and sent out by Al-Qaeda in Yemen.
Good point! Good point! I'm glad we can agree on this! Did you know that the leaders of the al Qaeda cell in Yemen were 2 terrorists who were released by Vice President Cheney in secret?
The Cheney who's out bleating that Obama dropped the ball? The same Cheney who's encouraging GOP Senators to block the nomination of a new head for the TSA, leaving incompetent Bushies to keep screwing up?
So Obama's logic is that President Bush released 2 terrorists who joined A.Q. again so I should release 91 more from Yemen so I can keep my stupid promise of closing Gitmo?
Seriously, how many campaign promises has Obama even kept? ZERO
Just because Bush and Cheney are idiots and released the two ringleaders of this latest attack, we shouldn't release anybody else? Even guys we know were wrongly accused? You're an idiot.
Obama has kept ZERO promises, you say?
Jeebus, I'm tired of correcting your stupidity. He's kept 79. He's compromised on 21. He's been stalled by the GOP on 53 and he's broke 9.
According to the latest polls, 79% of Americans think there will be a major domestic terror attack in the next year, a figure that is up 30 points since August. Why are Americans so uneasy? The recent attempt to destroy a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day by a jihadist, followed by the Barack Obama administrations unbelievable incoherence in its comments on the incident have made the average person realize that, when it comes to fighting terrorism, this administration hasnt got a clue.
Democrats waited til after the investigations were finished to criticize the handling of 9/11 and the Shoebomber. Republicans couldn't even wait 24 hours -- and they asked for money in the same breath as they criticized the administration.
You're criticizing Obama for waiting a few days to speak out about the failed attack. Did you criticize Bush for waiting a week to speak out about the Shoebomber? Yes or no?
Again, the Democrats knew better than to criticize President Bush right after 9/11. They were barely smart enough to realize that would not set well with the American people at that time. Notice how they waited until people forgot and then started their whining that went on for years and years.
I'm just happy to be able to dump on worthless Obama for only 3 more years until he is kicked out of office in 2012. I'm already counting the days.
Hey America hater! Stand tall and be proud that you're criticizing America while your GOP senators won't let President Obama choose his own TSA boss and are forcing us to keep fighting terror w/the same team of incompetent Bushies.
I just read up where Obama didn't even come up with a candidate for the TSA for 7 months and then tried to run a union promoter through as he does all his policies. Thanks you Mr. DeMint.
Also, DeMint show what an ass Obama and Hillary were re Honduras. They backed the dictator regime against the democracy of Honduras. Of course, as usual, Obama had to back down from his stupid decision.
You're right. The Depression was no big deal. Just like the trillions that unregulated markets on Wall Street destroyed and caused all lending to cease was no big deal.
Remember how long Bush stayed on vacation w/out doing anything after the shoebomber tried to blow up a plane? A week.
Did you pee your diaper and cry about that like you're crying about this? Yes or no?
I've given you a dozen yes or no questions that you've refused to answer because you can't stand admitting that you're crying about the same things you loved when Bush did them.
They woke Obama up for his Nobel prize but let him sleep when 300 lives were at stake.
Does Soros pay you in cash or does he give you a govt job? After all, Obama is Soros' puppet. I would say his "mouth piece" but Obama is getting very boring these days. Just says the same all crap: it's all Bush's fault.
Even the Dems are getting tired of that bullshit too.
Hahahahaha! Bush got briefings from the CIA and dozens of emails Clarke warning him that Bin Laden "Intends to attack in the US". He told the briefers "OK. You've covered your ass" and ignored them.
Bush dropped counter-terror funding for the FBI from it's top 2 position under Clinton to below the top 12.
Democrats waited til the 9/11 investigation was completed, years later. Same w/the shoebomber. You teabaggers couldn't wait 24 hours before you tried to politicize this attack.
You mean like Bush's CIA knew the names of two of the 9/11 hijackers, Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar? And let them into the country anyway? And even arrested a third would-be hijacker?
I guess you've forgotten that we never had an attack on American soil before 9/11 so we weren't thinking terrorist attacks back then. We've had 8 years now and still Obama fucked it up.
So you're the only brilliant person in the world who knew some fucked up muslim bastards would fly planes into buildings I guess. Perhaps Obama should hire you to keep Nigerian underpants boy from flying in planes then.
I'm sure you called him in advance and told him of the plans since you're so brilliant.
That's it? That's all you got? You can't argue w/the facts. Clarke was right. Condi Rice and Bush ignored him and cut funding for the FBI's counter-terror effort by more than two-thirds.
Everyone thought and still thinks Clarke is an idiot crybaby. No one missed him when he left.
We beat the terrorist asses in Afghanistan and in Iraq. Obama is now losing both those wars, because the terrorist know he's a pussy, just like most Americans are now beginning to realize that he's all talk and no balls.
You're googling IOAC and hoping you can cut-n-paste something plausible, aren't you. While you're at it, google up the max effective range of a M4 carbine firing on individuals, cause I'll be asking you that next. And then I'll want to know exactly what you carried as part of your TA-50 in Afghanistan.
I don't think you will find a better article on the foreign policy of Obama other then Fouad Ajami's stuff at the WSJ. In it he gets right to the meat of the matter. No despot fears the president and no demonstrator in Tehran expects him to ride to the rescue. After a year in office the world knows what to expect. A bunch of "soaring" rhetoric about democracy and freedom but NO action whatsoever. In essence, Obama is intending to withdraw from any and all action on the world stage.
That giant sucking sound you hear is not that vacuum.....it's all our money spent by the Obama administration flying through space.....never to be heard of or seen by us again.
Bush spent 7 years talking to the press, saying, "Bring it on" and other dumbassery. He ignored the debacle in Afghanistan and sent all our troops to Iraq.
Our commanders in the field in Afghanistan asked for additional troops over and over and Bush said no. Now Obama is doing what Bush should've done 7 years ago -- taking action instead of yapping.
That the difference between Dems and Reps. We act. You hold press conferences.
How so? The commanders in the field in Afghanistan have been demanding additional troops for years and Bush kept saying no because he's all talk and no action. Bin Laden has been free to move about in Pakistan for years.
Thanks Republicans, for screwing the pooch for 8 years and then dumping the problem in the Democrats laps.
Obama taking action.....you mean how he spent 3 months trying to figure out whether to send troops to Afghanistan requested by HIS choice for military leader who was following HIS plan?
I fell off the couch laughing at that stupid comment.
You're kidding? The commanders in Afghanistan spent 7 years asking Bush for more troops. Bush spent 7 years ignoring him. And you don't have jack to say about that?
President Obama spent 3 months reevaluating the situation because he didn't trust many of the idiots left over from the Bush administration. And you're crying about that?
Just how do you know that commanders asked Bush for 7 years for more troops? Were you there reporting as a commander? (I'm laughing at the thought of that actually).
Just like you knew terrorists would fly planes into buildings?
You seriously need to go to work for the CIA then if you're so fucking smart as to know all that.
The commanders in the field were asking for troops and Bush said no. For 7 years the Taliban/al Qaeda got stronger in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Here's just 1 example:
There was a saying when I got there: If youre in Iraq and you need something, you ask for it, McKiernan said in his first interview since being fired. If youre in Afghanistan and you need it, you figure out how to do without it.
And how much flack did George Bush take because he delayed 6 minutes when 9-11 happened? Because he was talking to a bunch of children, and didn't jump right up and leave the room?
But it was Obama who promised hope and CHANGE? So you think it's okay for Obama to wait 72 hours just because Bush did something similar?
I thought Obama was going to do things differently. Now you know what it's like when people act like assholes. By the way, I'll continue to be an asshole like this for the 3 remaining years Obama has left.
It's hilarious that you admit that you're being a hypocrite about stuff that Obama's doing... that Bush did worse and that you cheered while Bush was doing it.
You just can't stop hating America. You and your teabagger buddies feel so good when you do it.
No, I'm doing what Democrapers did to President Bush. If it was wrong for President Bush as Democrats said, it should be wrong for Obama but then that's not what is happening now, is it?
The Democrats supported President Bush at the time of the attacks. They waited years, until the investigations were finished, before they criticized the administration's performance. The Republicans can't even get behind the President after an attempted TERRORIST ATTACK!
Pathetic. 8 years of all talk and no action and you're complaining when we get a real man in the White House.
I laugh at your comment about Democrats "supporting" President Bush. The truth is that they knew the public would not tolerate their usual hatred of America after an attack on New York.
Until his recent sellout on abortion funding, Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson was a darling of the pro-life movement as the lone consistent pro-life Democrat in the Senate. Now, a new poll shows him losing massive support and he would lose by a lopsided margin in his 2012 bid for re-election.
If the facts are on your side, pound on the facts. If the rules are on your side, pound on the rules. If neither are on your side, pound on your pussy.
Campbell Brown is reporting on CNN that two senior Obama administration figures are telling CNN that the administration is scouting sites in Yemen for retaliatory strikes in response to to the Christmas Day terror attack on Northwest Airlines flight 253.That's right Mr. and Mrs. America. The Obama administration is giving a heads up to al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula through CNN.
Voting in the wee hours, bribing reluctant senators with millions in slush funds for their respective states, all to ram through a health reform bill that few if any of the lawmakers have even read, let alone intellectually reflected upon or debated.
People would pay more attention to your whining if the Republicans under DeLay hadn't done the same thing -- except they did it w/dozens of bills, not just one.
Did you protest any of that from 1994 to 2006? Yes or no?
For 8 years President Bush presented ginormous deficits to the GOP Congress and Congress accepted them w/out reading, reflection or debate.
Did you protest any of that from 200 or 2008? Yes or no?
As I recall, we had 6% unemployment under President Bush, lower deficits than now, lower debts than now, smaller govt than now, and we had a grownup in the office instead of a fucking spoiled man child who has thin skin.
You hypocrite GOPers crack me up. Bush took suprluses, turned them into trillions in deficits and almost created a new Depression... and you're whining because it's taking Obama a few years to clean up after him.
Smaller govt? Hahahahahahahaha! Bush grew the govt bigger than it's ever been grown before! Do you deny it?
Keep hating America and praying for Democratic senators to die, teabagger.
Are you stoned? Clinton managed to get balanced budgets w/a GOP House and Senate. Despite the fact that the number of earmarks more than quadrupled while that POS Tom DeLay was in charge of the House.
Once Bush became Prez, the GOP Congress and he went deficit crazy. Bush's last budget gave us more than a trillion $ of this year's deficit. And Bush and the GOP gave us the trillion $ unfunded Medicare Prescription Drug scam.
You need to read more. It was the Republicans who balanced the budget without any democrat help. Clinton took the credit however. Clinton and Obama are a lot alike in that way, when things go bad, blame the Republicans, when things go well, take credit.
Fox News confirms that the CIA was tracking Northwest Airlines flight 253 bommber Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab since August. He did not say more than that. No wonder Obama spoke out again today about a systemic failure. He knew tis news was going to come out. This terrorist getting through our defenses is going to be the responsibility of his administration...not President Bush's.
What is your problem, Attention Deficit Disorder boy? Flight 253 and the guy who was given a visa is another thread.
If you're from S. Carolina, get on the phone and tell Senator DeMint to take the hold off the nomination of the TSA chief -- how can this administration fix what's broken if idiots like DeMint insist that Bush administration holdovers keep running the show?
Still waiting for you to deny that Bush grew the govt bigger than it ever was before.
During his first 4 years in office—when the GOP controlled Congress—he added a whopping $345 billion to the budget. The only other presidential term that comes close? Bush's second term.
You can wait until you die of crack for all I care. During Obama's reign of terror in the eocomy, he is fucking over America. High deficits, high debt, high unemployment, and soon, high taxes.
Erroll Southers, was censured by the FBI for asking law enforcement personnel to conduct a background check on his ex-wifes boyfriend. The incident occurred some time ago (1988), and Southers has acknowledged his miscondcut and claims he has not done anything similar since.
THIS IS THE NOMINEE? lol!!!!!!
At least he didn't cheat on his taxes, that we know of yet.
It is not late yet, there is not a dime wasted to that Senate sell out scam yet. Fight for the public option. Go to street and voice your demand and keep the public option in a bill as a legislation because we need it to build the real infrastructure. It belongs to everyone, not just any political parties.
Real conservative doesn't what our kids repeating our bad history. We have to move on and build the infrastructure, like those Chinese over the other side of the world, for the kids and for the future.
Why should people be subjected to penalty while profit driven private insurers avoiding them and there is no govt provision for their need? This Senate bill is a big sell out using those anti-abortion religious hypocrisy who build homes for fable preachers more than for homeless people.
Did President Bush's a $1.4 trillion deficit this year? Yes or no.
YES BUT IN 2008 WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS VOTING FOR AND SPENDING THE MONEY. BUT WHAT ARE THEY NOW WITH BOTH A DEM CONGRESS AND A DEM PREZ? 10 TIMES THAT THANKS TO OBAMA, PELOZI AND REID, 14 TRILLION TO BE EXACT
President Bush proposed and owns the $1.4 trillion deficit. It was passed w/both Democratic and Republican votes. Could the money have been spent better? Yes, I'll grant you that. Could it have been spent better as quickly given the panic and the total financial freeze after Lehman Bros failed? That we can debate.
So if President Bush owns the $1.4 trillion deficit, then you agree Obama owns the $14 trillion deficit then? 10 times worse amigo!!
The only program working was the payback of the TARP. But even then, Democrat big spenders are wanting to take the money paid back and blowing it on more CRAP such as green jobs. What the hell are those anyway?
@nodem2 $1.4 or $14 deficits are not real. Books are not real. We all know how to cook some with Quicken. Where are the real voice for the needed and the working middle class? (Just ignore those power hunger right wing TV TeaBaggers who know only skin colors.)
Real conservative wants single payer or public option at least to give people real voice and choices. Private insurers and Wall St style profit scams make many loop holes in market speculations. They'll make us bail them out repeatedly.
So, in 2000, we stop getting surpluses and start getting deficits. We continue getting deficits for the next 8 years, w/a GOP Congress. What changed?
We got a Republican President.
He proposed an enormous deficit every single year. We got an enormous deficit. Every single year. And he gave us an economic disaster as big as Hoover's.
Whom you fooling, lady ? The caller was referring to the death prayer for senator Burt (92 yrs) in sarcastic way, not referring to Inhof's absence. And you know it. Caller was smart. And you try to play innocence.
It's great that we here in America pay twice as much as Canadians and Brits and the French and every other 1st world country... for worse health care.
Health insurer Cigna is giving their CEO a $470 million pay package for doing such a good job of sticking it to us, his customers.
And America doesn't have to wait months for surgeries and tests. Plus America has medical research that discovers new technologies every day, unlike Canada and Britain. Also, American mothers don't have to be lined up in the hallways giving birth like in England.
But Obama wants to use your tax dollars to pay for abortions and for illegal immigrants.
The modern GOP is worse than the Taliban. Anti intellectual rigid religious turds who want women in the kitchen or on the bed having babies. Just like the Taliban.
@nodem2 Nope. Pay attention. The Democrats passed healthcare reform. They screwed up nothing. The status quo was screwed up. I'm voting Democrat again. The party that gets it done and cares about the middle class. You go ahead and vote for the party that starts multi-trillion dollar wars and gives tax cuts to the rich and the party that encourages companies to outsource your job to China.
Yep, remember that it was DEMOCRATS who passed the crap sandwich known as Obamacare. I'm hoping everyone remembers that fact when it comes time to vote in 2010 and vote those idiots out who pass that piece of shit legislation.
@nodem2 I am hoping everyone remembers that yes it WAS the Democrats who made so that you can't lose your insurance if you lose your job. And yes it was the Democrats who made sure that insurance companies can't reject you if you have cancer. People in 2010 will also remember that it was the GOP who tried to stop this and sided with insurance companies who only want to raise your rates and then drop you if you if get a disease (after you paid them thousands over the years). Gop = greed.
Dem=greed if you are honest about it. Isn't it the Dems who passed the failed stimulus. See any jobs come from that $787 billion dollar disaster?
Nope, unemployment is over 10%.
How about those other great deficit increasing, debt increasing plans of Democrats like Cap & Trade and Global Warming policies? LAFF at your stupidity!!!
Hilarious! House and Senate Republicans are trotting around the country taking credit for the stimulus money and claiming it creates jobs in their home districts. You need to get your straight.
Every Nobel-winning economist agrees that the stimulus kept the recession from turning into a depression. Private firms are playing it safe and refusing to invest any money in growing the economy. If you cut back on your spending this Xmas, you are, too.

Gov. Bill Richardson's office wouldn't answer Journal questions this week regarding the governor's whereabouts and whether he was working in state or traveling outside New Mexico. Turns out Journal reporters weren't the only people left out of the loop. Lt. Gov.

For the second straight week, only 29% of U.S. voters say the country is heading in the right direction, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Last weeks right direction finding was the lowest level measured since February.
That's 71% who think it's the WRONG direction toofoo.

You lied about serving in the Army in Afghanistan and you're lying about who responsible for this year's $1.4 trillion deficit.
Over a trillion of this year's deficit comes from money allocated by President Bush.

State and local tax revenues fell 7% in the third quarter of 2009 from a year ago, the Census Bureau said in a report underscoring how the economic downturn is stressing government collections. Sales taxes declined 9% to $70 billion in the third quarter compared with the year-ago period, the Census Bureau said. Income taxes plunged 12% to about $58 billion. Together, sales and income taxes make up roughly half of state and local tax revenue.
Yeah, your butt-boy Obama is doing a great job!

You're so pathetic.

Abdumutallab is an Islamic Jihadist trained and sent out by Al-Qaeda in Yemen.
nodem2 2 years ago
Good point!
Or do you deny it?
toofoocactus 2 years ago
So Obama's logic is that President Bush released 2 terrorists who joined A.Q. again so I should release 91 more from Yemen so I can keep my stupid promise of closing Gitmo?
Seriously, how many campaign promises has Obama even kept? ZERO
nodem2 2 years ago
Just because Bush and Cheney are idiots and released the two ringleaders of this latest attack, we shouldn't release anybody else? Even guys we know were wrongly accused? You're an idiot.
Obama has kept ZERO promises, you say?
Jeebus, I'm tired of correcting your stupidity. He's kept 79. He's compromised on 21. He's been stalled by the GOP on 53 and he's broke 9.
You're deliberately being stupid, aren't you?
toofoocactus 2 years ago
According to the latest polls, 79% of Americans think there will be a major domestic terror attack in the next year, a figure that is up 30 points since August. Why are Americans so uneasy? The recent attempt to destroy a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day by a jihadist, followed by the Barack Obama administrations unbelievable incoherence in its comments on the incident have made the average person realize that, when it comes to fighting terrorism, this administration hasnt got a clue.
nodem2 2 years ago
Democrats waited til after the investigations were finished to criticize the handling of 9/11 and the Shoebomber. Republicans couldn't even wait 24 hours -- and they asked for money in the same breath as they criticized the administration.
You're criticizing Obama for waiting a few days to speak out about the failed attack. Did you criticize Bush for waiting a week to speak out about the Shoebomber? Yes or no?
Of course not. IOKIYAR.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
Again, the Democrats knew better than to criticize President Bush right after 9/11. They were barely smart enough to realize that would not set well with the American people at that time. Notice how they waited until people forgot and then started their whining that went on for years and years.
I'm just happy to be able to dump on worthless Obama for only 3 more years until he is kicked out of office in 2012. I'm already counting the days.
nodem2 2 years ago

Bush dropped counter-terror funding for the FBI from it's top 2 position under Clinton to below the top 12.
Democrats waited til the 9/11 investigation was completed, years later. Same w/the shoebomber. You teabaggers couldn't wait 24 hours before you tried to politicize this attack.

toofoocactus 2 years ago
I don't think you will find a better article on the foreign policy of Obama other then Fouad Ajami's stuff at the WSJ. In it he gets right to the meat of the matter. No despot fears the president and no demonstrator in Tehran expects him to ride to the rescue. After a year in office the world knows what to expect. A bunch of "soaring" rhetoric about democracy and freedom but NO action whatsoever. In essence, Obama is intending to withdraw from any and all action on the world stage.

We act. You hold press conferences.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
Obama has spent the last year saying: It's Bush's fault. It's Bush's fault. Even Democrats are getting embarrassed by his childish behavior.
At least President Bush had the terrorists on the run. Obama is inviting them to tea and crumpets.
nodem2 2 years ago
"Had the terrorists on the run"
How so? The commanders in the field in Afghanistan have been demanding additional troops for years and Bush kept saying no because he's all talk and no action. Bin Laden has been free to move about in Pakistan for years.

Obama taking action.....you mean how he spent 3 months trying to figure out whether to send troops to Afghanistan requested by HIS choice for military leader who was following HIS plan?
I fell off the couch laughing at that stupid comment.
nodem2 2 years ago
You're kidding? The commanders in Afghanistan spent 7 years asking Bush for more troops. Bush spent 7 years ignoring him. And you don't have jack to say about that?
President Obama spent 3 months reevaluating the situation because he didn't trust many of the idiots left over from the Bush administration. And you're crying about that?
You're pathetic.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
Just how do you know that commanders asked Bush for 7 years for more troops? Were you there reporting as a commander? (I'm laughing at the thought of that actually).
Just like you knew terrorists would fly planes into buildings?
You seriously need to go to work for the CIA then if you're so fucking smart as to know all that.
nodem2 2 years ago
Wrong again. For the 70000th time.
If youre in Afghanistan and you need it, you figure out how to do without it.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
Well, if you remember, Democrats were in charge of the budgets by Congress in 2006 thru 2008.
After all, they had bribes to be paid to the unions, and to the minorities that took priority over the troops.

Pathetic. 8 years of all talk and no action and you're complaining when we get a real man in the White House.

It is not late yet, there is not a dime wasted to that Senate sell out scam yet. Fight for the public option. Go to street and voice your demand and keep the public option in a bill as a legislation because we need it to build the real infrastructure. It belongs to everyone, not just any political parties.
beancube2008 2 years ago
public option = socialist scam
Only idiots are for the public option.
nodem2 2 years ago
Real conservative doesn't what our kids repeating our bad history. We have to move on and build the infrastructure, like those Chinese over the other side of the world, for the kids and for the future.

beancube,
Learn how to read and write and then get back to me.
nodem2 2 years ago
Why should people be subjected to penalty while profit driven private insurers avoiding them and there is no govt provision for their need? This Senate bill is a big sell out using those anti-abortion religious hypocrisy who build homes for fable preachers more than for homeless people.

CON'T
Did President Bush's a $1.4 trillion deficit this year? Yes or no.
YES BUT IN 2008 WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS VOTING FOR AND SPENDING THE MONEY. BUT WHAT ARE THEY NOW WITH BOTH A DEM CONGRESS AND A DEM PREZ? 10 TIMES THAT THANKS TO OBAMA, PELOZI AND REID, 14 TRILLION TO BE EXACT
nodem2 2 years ago
Take a deep breath. Re-laxxxxxxxx.
President Bush proposed and owns the $1.4 trillion deficit. It was passed w/both Democratic and Republican votes. Could the money have been spent better? Yes, I'll grant you that. Could it have been spent better as quickly given the panic and the total financial freeze after Lehman Bros failed? That we can debate.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
So if President Bush owns the $1.4 trillion deficit, then you agree Obama owns the $14 trillion deficit then? 10 times worse amigo!!
The only program working was the payback of the TARP. But even then, Democrat big spenders are wanting to take the money paid back and blowing it on more CRAP such as green jobs. What the hell are those anyway?
Demcare = big loses for Dems in 2010
nodem2 2 years ago
@nodem2 $1.4 or $14 deficits are not real. Books are not real. We all know how to cook some with Quicken. Where are the real voice for the needed and the working middle class? (Just ignore those power hunger right wing TV TeaBaggers who know only skin colors.)
Real conservative wants single payer or public option at least to give people real voice and choices. Private insurers and Wall St style profit scams make many loop holes in market speculations. They'll make us bail them out repeatedly.

beancube,
You are showing your ignorance re the economy.
And do the liberal thing when you don't have facts on your side, call everyone a racist.
Eat shit and die asshole.

FROM TOOFOO WHO DELETED IT:
Did we have surpluses in 98, 99 and 00 under Clinton? Yes or no.
YES, THANKS TO THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS. NO THANKS TO CLINTON
Did President Bush and the GOP House and Senate run a deficit every year? Yes or no.
YES, BUT SO DID DEMOCRATS UNTIL THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS BALANCED THE BUDGET
nodem2 2 years ago
So, in 2000, we stop getting surpluses and start getting deficits. We continue getting deficits for the next 8 years, w/a GOP Congress. What changed?
We got a Republican President.
He proposed an enormous deficit every single year. We got an enormous deficit. Every single year. And he gave us an economic disaster as big as Hoover's.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
So what changed in 2006? We got Democrats spending and taxing us to death.
And taxing our grandchildren to death too.
Democrats = TAX AND SPEND

I wonder if while listening to that caller, Barrasso ever thought "maybe I'm playing for the wrong side"

Whom you fooling, lady ? The caller was referring to the death prayer for senator Burt (92 yrs) in sarcastic way, not referring to Inhof's absence. And you know it. Caller was smart. And you try to play innocence.

who needs health care reform when you can just pray yourself back to good health?
utubeaccount00 2 years ago
utube,
you were right the first time, "who does need health care reform..." NO ONE!
nodem2 2 years ago
It's great that we here in America pay twice as much as Canadians and Brits and the French and every other 1st world country... for worse health care.
Health insurer Cigna is giving their CEO a $470 million pay package for doing such a good job of sticking it to us, his customers.
toofoocactus 2 years ago
toofoocactus,
And America doesn't have to wait months for surgeries and tests.

Just like the Taliban.
jensen1901 2 years ago 5
jensen1901,
It's the Dimocrats that screwed up healthcare. Remember that in 2010 and vote the Democrat turds out.
nodem2 2 years ago
@nodem2 Nope. Pay attention. The Democrats passed healthcare reform. They screwed up nothing. The status quo was screwed up. I'm voting Democrat again. The party that gets it done and cares about the middle class. You go ahead and vote for the party that starts multi-trillion dollar wars and gives tax cuts to the rich and the party that encourages companies to outsource your job to China.
jensen1901 2 years ago 3
jensen,
Yep, remember that it was DEMOCRATS who passed the crap sandwich known as Obamacare. I'm hoping everyone remembers that fact when it comes time to vote in 2010 and vote those idiots out who pass that piece of shit legislation.
nodem2 2 years ago
@nodem2 I am hoping everyone remembers that yes it WAS the Democrats who made so that you can't lose your insurance if you lose your job. And yes it was the Democrats who made sure that insurance companies can't reject you if you have cancer. People in 2010 will also remember that it was the GOP who tried to stop this and sided with insurance companies who only want to raise your rates and then drop you if you if get a disease (after you paid them thousands over the years). Gop = greed.
jensen1901 2 years ago 5
Dem=greed if you are honest about it. Isn't it the Dems who passed the failed stimulus. See any jobs come from that $787 billion dollar disaster?
Nope, unemployment is over 10%.
How about those other great deficit increasing, debt increasing plans of Democrats like Cap & Trade and Global Warming policies? LAFF at your stupidity!!!
nodem2 2 years ago
But you can't admit that, can you?
