Well since the rings feed off of will and don't really need to recharge (only need recharged cause the user believes it does, the lantern core conditioned the users to have weaknesses so they won't get too powerful) I guess it'd make sense that Static could "charge" the ring as long as GL believed it'd work.

@bcg241 u know when I saw the jl I never heard much about gl so I was surprised when they showed an animated movie wher the gl was white ans was confused untill I learned that there were more then one human lantern. so yeah they aren;'t being racist this is the story of how a human became the first human gl which is why he gets more notice.

@animegrl5 There are thousands of green lanterns in the Green Lantern Corp used to be 3600 one for every sector of the universe, but now it's 7,200 2 for every sector, but there are 4 corp members from earth, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardener, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner, the Original Green Lantern Alan Scott isn't part of the corp(although he was made an honorary member) his powers aren't derived from the central power battery on Oa, Scotts battery and ring were built from material from the starheart

the rhyme's been there forever, but the rest doesn't make sense. In most incarnations of GL, the oath has no connection to his power, it's just a part of being a lantern, like the guardian's version of 'serve and protect' (the police motto).
