  • i wanna see more pure fun dancing like this in our clubs these days, especially break girls. Instead too much hatin' or staring or posing going on now. The hell, go to the dance floor if u wanna rip it and Express urself :o

  • You right, but look at how the dance has expanded since then to include all countries around the world, and it all started with the hood, now the hood has reached the four corners of the earth. These were the beginning elements. I'm from this generation, you should see us now!! Those of us that can still get down.

  • It is very easy to tell the West Coast Breakers From the EAST Coast Breakers ! East Coast was Years ahead - Sorry to all my WestCoast - Peeps

  • That's one of the true elements of hip hop!!!

the others are graffitti, rappin' and other cultural parts like dress, walk and talk!!

you listen to the garbage you hear and see now and wonder what happened?

hip hop will never die for those of us who know what it really is and means.

  • I love the song. Anybody know what its called.

  • i think its called breakers revenge by arthur baker

  • i feel soo much better about my breakdancing after watching this!

i can do all of this!

  • Everybody changes cause the shit today is out of this world. But the one thing that makes me angry is people today act like hip hop is just a black thing no rap maybe but hip hop is graffiti ,Dj,breakin and than the mc. I remember when rap was in the back ground on the breakers coattails all the major video shows lk mtv no rap video's were ever played tell breakin became the sensation of the nation.just look at all the differant races and genders doing it .Hip hop is for all colors of people.

  • so true, it really is a worldwide thing. I lived in Indonesia and its just as big there as it is anywhere else.

    stay true to the roots!

  • @wilfred35 dude stfu

  • @3ob3ob Im a grown ass man boy I say what the fuck I want to remeber that .

  • @wilfred35 I agree, and the shitty music made today is just a guy braging about his money saying he's better then everyone else. and the shity beats they make are aweful.

  • @wilfred35 Well said maan. well said!! :)

  • @wilfred35 No. You want to know why I'm mad? Back then Hip Hop was look at as a nigger lifestyle. White people AND Asians saw it as a nigger thing. But, because people from different backgroudns do it it's "urban" bullshit! I'm tired of people not giving credit where credit is due and taking it and trying to act like blacks didn't invent the shit.

  • @Blauw94 your right, blacks invented it but Hispanic kids really brought breaking to the for front.....rock steady, nyc breakers, and a gang of others...were predominantly Hispanic. .............i rarely saw any asians doing it back then, and only a few whites. PEACE

  • @Blauw94 "White people AND Asians saw it as a nigger thing."

Um, no, they were on it, too.

    Born 94 ?

  • @sclapione and as for white people who do you think was paying money to see us dance ?WHITE PEOPLE .IN THE 80'severy body and their momma was breakin it even made it to the white house and the olympics only some body who wasnt

  • @wilfred35

plus one of the major artists for breakers was kraftwerk

bring back the 80s for sure

  • @MrMiister There was only one kraftwerk song that we could bboy too all the others was for popping of before popping it was roboting all started on the west coast ,just as locking started in the west.

  • @wilfred35

I completely agree with you on the fact Hip hop is for all colors of people. But you can't even lie if you took the breakin that was done back then and compared it to the Red Bull Competitions held now you can't even compare.

Also once you think you're the greatest at something some asian has to come out do you.

  • @DSpriceless And they are suppose to take it to another level just like everything nothing in life stays the same dancing has nothing to do with race hard work and practice anything is possible

  • damn that was the freshes video i ever seen big ups to the pioneers of breakin

  • The little kid was the best out of the bunch.

  • 1:16-1:46 make me luagh

  • great video

  • Whoa, I searched for "old school", and that is what I got...Nice vid, thanks!
