@velocity186y I have an HTC Desire Z, and the battery will easily last for a day, even with the Wi-Fi turned on at all times. Just remember to turn your wireless connections off (Especially GPS) when you're not using them.

@samsite84 Dude I didn't even know that! That's amazing. I had an Ipod Touch 3g and well someone stole it. I admit, I was pretty pissed off. I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I've been searching both sides of the war between apple and android. Look I like Apple. Not gonna put it down. I haven't tried android yet so I can't say if it's good or bad. I want something different though, so Imma look at this device. It looks VERRRY promising haha. And I want the Thunderbolt...:D

I love this tablet. Since getting my Desire HD, I've been waiting for HTC to make a tablet to replace my iPad. However, I think they've priced it wrong. Its almost £600 or £480 for the 32/16GB 3G versions, and thats slightly more than the equivalent iPad, although the Flyer does alot more than the iPad, but you'd think HTC would price it a bit better.

From the limited time I spent interacting with this device this past weekend, I was rather pleased. I was able to due some intricate inking with the Magic Pen and the interface was great to use. Can't wait until Best Buy gets their display model ready soon.

Imho, htc are way off the mark with this, it's running out of date software and the hardware mirrors this by having a home, back etc buttons, which isn't found on honeycomb tabs, nothing to worry about though as if htc release tablets like they release phones it'll be out of date within a month !

It would have been better if HTC teamed up with Wacom for the tablet pen. No need for batteries and arguably the best consumer tablet tech you can get.

Or include the pen in that $500 price point. That would work, too.

Sorry HTC. I love you guys to death--you make great things--but I'll have to go with the Acer ICONIA TAB A500 for my Android tablet needs. More reasonable price and bigger size. Regardless, keep up the great work!

Good thing about this tablet is it can allow artist to use the pen tool to draw specially storyboard artist and such. However not sure if there is an app for it yet on the android market ;)

As you know the art community is massive and if the flyer can attract these people (like me) then it will be a hit.
