Lol she does not sing better than Elaine Paige. She is very good but Elaine has wonderful diction, wonderful clearness of voice, and a beautiful stage presence. To those critics who say that Elaine blew Susan Boyle out the water, allow me to say Susan Boyle has enough talent to be up there, I admit that Susan would get a better coach to work on her voice to hit higher notes or just trained a bit more this lady although at 50 she could delight us with her songs for a few more years.

Too many times the entertainment industry sell us short with the phisical beauty or with women with too much make up or men with groom to be a certain way and no real talent.

Susan did well in the circumstances, and arguably has the better voice, when at her best, though I concede she can be erratic in live performance. This is because, I think,she tries too hard ,and does not relax enough.
