love it .strange hands something out of the Adams family.. yoour awsome.. , you jammed too much i would of love to of heard you play the lennon song..version peace my Alien friend
No... You guys are wrong. Yoko did help with the break up. They were going to break up eventually and yoko didn't really speed up the process. John and Paul were already writing their own material even as a band they didn't need each other when it came to writing a song. Besides their solo careers were great so even if Yoko broke up the beatles, I have to thank her for the great stuff Lennon put out for her.
I privately agree with the below comment. And I personally think that John himself ruined his first marriage, not Yoko. But I'm almost positive we'd have at least another album from the Beatles if Yoko hadn't come along. She didn't break up the Beatles, it was going to happen anyways. But she didn't help the stick together or anything. The only merit that I give her is that John loved her. That's enough for me. lol. If any of that made any sense at all...
I agree with you. True, she created a bit more tension between the band mates than there might have been had she not at least been at rehearsals. John said that wherever he goes, she goes, and vise versa. As far as them eventually breaking up, they had thoughts of doing so after Rubber Soul but Phil Specter convinced them to hang in there because of how much potential material they wrote together (supposedly).
You should watch the Beatles anthology. It shows the tension that the beatles had even before yoko came onto the scene. A lot of the tension was between Paul and George, but really they were all kind of tired of being together constantly. You can also see how they even got used to yoko being there. she never left john's side and the other's didn't seem to mind after the initial adjustment.
Love that spinning mobile Eli! What IS all that stuff? Thank you so much for your music! Headed to bed with this song in my heart, anticipating glorious dreams!

Amazing how a clumsy piano player like Lennon can "hit all the right notes" - it's not all about technique !
