@7885404 Do you mean saving the file as a universal format? such as .JPEG?

If that is what you mean Try this.

...WHen you are finished with the image, Click File>Save as> (and a window should pop-up.. Underneath the area where you type the name of the image. You will see a drop down menu for the file type. Click JPEG and follow instructions from there onwards. If thats not what you mean, Get back to me :)

im new at PS and i want to ask u how to change one word into another but same looking as original and same size, type etc. for example if i would have a pic that underneeth is writen "car" and that word would be white colored and with graffiti type of style and i want to change that word into for example "hi" but to look the same white graffiti type

Well firstly you would have to have the same Font style that was used to create the word in the first place. That may take time, but head onto forums and post a Screen cap of the word and someone in the community will healp you find the original font. :)

i cannot find my smudge tool...help me if u can...does it work with blur tool...?

The smudge tool looks like a small hand with an outstretched finger. It wont work with blur as it won't make the lines look like flames. The smudge tool may be with the same group as the blur tool, Click on the small black corner mark and select the smudge. (Hover over it if you can't tell)

Dude my brushes arent allowing me to make Flamy smudges, but instead they're straight and messy, not flamy at all.

I used the simple round brush as you said in your previous comments, and yeah I have followed every step 3 times it just wont happen...

Can you suggest whats wrong?

Have you checked that its the Smudge tool your using and not a paint brush?

If so make sure that intensity is not at 100% (should be near the top) Lower it too about 35% or so. Try again and get back to me. :)

Hey how do i replase a word in a pic

Theres a few ways you could do it.. The word could be cut out leaving an out line of the same size.. Or you can cover the text with a shape of the same colour on the background. The magic wand is helpful for deleting areas of text. :)

I used this way a couple of times for what your thinking aswell. Instead of using actual text in the text box, Use Punctuation like ( - . , " ¬ ^ * ) That kind of punctuation. The (_ or - ) symbols work best. And instead of using just one text box, Use several and follow the same steps to create the flames. Hope i helped :).

i couldnt find it on mine, but right now i was trying to find it and i did. right click on the blur tool and you could choose the smudge tool from there. Hope this helped!

Just the standard circle brush with 100% hardness and 83% pressure

yea sometimes that happens, before making it bigger, put a dot or a single letter in it, it will stop it from vanishing and it will come up on the right hand layer bar as a text box :)

If that fails, look to the right, right click the boc and click show.. or edit .. i cant rally remeber lol.

At the very top you should see a bar that allows you to change the size, it is restricted to 100px, So highlight it and just type in 150 and hit enter :)

Hey, Thanks for the comment, The smudge tool should be on the left hand bar, It looks like a little hand with one finger pointing. It may not be in use, this bascally means its still in its sub category area. If you count on your bar 7 down it should be there, otherwise click and hold it, then a small menu should appear, and it will have the smudge tool in there.

Script MT Bold.

It works well with this effect as its nice an 'loopy' lol .. only way i can describe it =]

I used Cs2.

im sure that Cs3 has the smudge tool somewhere, it my be in the 'Tools' option or on the sharper tool, you may see a black arrow on the button. Click and hold, it should give you further options, the sumdge tool should be there. =]
