@DancingInTheRain73 Originally, there was almost a taboo that said the Doctor wasn't allowed to fall in love with his companions. Then after the series was revived, that was sort of ignored. Which is okay, I think he needed someone like that. Just once.

DT is hands down my Doctor. He portrays the many facets of the Doctor like no other. The sound of his voice when he says, "Her name was Rose." breaks my heart every time.

Actually, David Tennant said in a podcast that they filmed it in the summertime - there were a lot of shots where he pointed out that it was just way too obviously summertime, but they run on a budget and left it that way.

I hated Donna in this episode, I thought she was loud. obnoxious etc. But in series 4 it showed alot more of her character, she's caring, empathetic, a listener, best temp in Chisick (sp?) :D
