  • The Doctor does need somebody from letting him go to far. @GoldenAmethyst, you're right. The Doctor didn't take Donna's advice after he lost her in "Journey's End" and proceeded to goto far afterwards, especially in "The Waters of Mars" where he rewrote a fixed point in time. It was then that the Doctor could have really

  • I notice he didn't take Donna's advice after he lost her - the pain obviously was too deep whilst in this incarnation and only abated to an acceptable level once he regenerated

  • she should have gone with him. :(

  • 1:00 - 1:14 My thoughts when I first watched this were that Donna was somehow going to find Rose and get her back to the Doctor. Never happened, and would probably be impossible anyway, but it would've been good.

  • i cant watch any episodes with rose in them because she pisses me off.

  • i fucking hate rose.

  • her name was Doris. lol

  • okay my heart just died. <3 *weeps,* I'd join him. I <3 him.

  • I swear he starts crying when he says "Her name was Rose"

  • @guidinglightismylife he does, poor broken hearted doctor :(

  • "You need someone," she says. I'm sure about half of the people who've seen Doctor Who would follow the Doctor in a heartbeat! Good greif, stop for your fans, Doctor! We've got your back! (kinda...)

  • After watching season 1 and 2 with Rose, I miss her a lot:"( she was really funny and pretty:") I wish she never left doctor who:"( love rose Tyler:")

  • Her name was Rose." offfffffffffffffffffffffffffff :(((

  • It just wouldn't be the same if Rose wasn't such a pretty name. Can you imagine that much heart-broken emotion saying, "Her name was Bertha."

  • @broadwaymbw lmao!!! Bertha Tyler!!! XD

  • @broadwaymbw thats sort off funny bertha................ but the doctor does need someone

  • hah, the TARDIS never takes off like that...I think he was showing off just a tiny bit ;) learning to be all enigmatic haha

  • 1 Dalek disliked this video.

  • Wait, so out of all the companions he's had, is Rose the only one he really loved? I didn't see the old series so I really wouldn't know.

  • @DancingInTheRain73 Originally, there was almost a taboo that said the Doctor wasn't allowed to fall in love with his companions. Then after the series was revived, that was sort of ignored. Which is okay, I think he needed someone like that. Just once.

  • @iluvanimorphs thanks =] even though that just made Rose's leaving about 500 times more depressing D:

  • poor poor doctor he loved rose deeply

    only one he loved

well acording to my mother i was one when they stopped showing it for the 16 year stop and two when i left london to go live in holland so all my memoruies of ppost 9 doctor who is from my moms storys

  • I cannot stop backtracking to 1:00 and then sobbing all over again.

  • Donna is a smart lady. He does need a keeper.

  • He is truly a magnificent actor, the way he says "her name was Rose" is just heartbreaking!

  • He is truly a magnificent actor, the way he says "her name was Rose" is just heartbreaking!

  • OMGG. "Her name was rose."... His voice like went so low, and he was about to cry. omg. -tear- <3

  • lol love the way the TARDIS takes off in the end.

The Doc is such a show off :P

  • @MistiquexButterfly I like how Donna seemed like such a contradiction. She acted as if she was a shallow party girl, but she had incredible empathy and never felt the Doctor owed her anything personally.

  • thanks for posting all of these

  • Do he have Chirstmas dinner with her?

  • nope

  • "Her name was Rose." The emotion in his face and in his voice just broke my heart.

  • @bananas1and2 toataly

  • How rude doctor! Going to leave without saying goodbye. S=

  • @martha368 tbh i think the only person the doctor has ever said goodbye to is Sarah Jane

  • He said it to Susan, but I don't know if she heard it.

  • DT is hands down my Doctor. He portrays the many facets of the Doctor like no other. The sound of his voice when he says, "Her name was Rose." breaks my heart every time.

  • @ptTeearms , he does sound like he's going to cry doesn't he?

  • @annamcnarin

    yea it seems like it

  • and he does find someone, he finds martha, then when martha sadly leaves him at the end of series 3, he runs into Donna again and she becomes his series 4 companion. :)

  • wasnt he going to go in there for dinner

    whats up with that

  • no, he lied about going in for dinner, that's why he said he needed to park the TARDIS, it was an excuse because he never parks it, he just leaves it where it lands.

  • and Donna does get lucky.

  • BLOODY HELL WHAT WAS THAT!!??

why didn't the tardis disappear?? it just zoomed off into space, it's meant to do the thing that makes the funny whooshing noise!!!!!!!!

  • Its already done it in, Doctor Number 2. I wouldn't concern yourself.

  • probably the Doctor just showing off and making a grand exit :P

  • lol, you're from AK too? Sweet. 'Course, not all of AK has 5 feet of snow at Christmas, Southcentral sure doesn't.....But I wish it did. I don't think we've ever had more'n three feet max on the ground at any one time. *sigh*

  • Actually, David Tennant said in a podcast that they filmed it in the summertime - there were a lot of shots where he pointed out that it was just way too obviously summertime, but they run on a budget and left it that way.

  • Awesome, just awesome!

  • Blimey! you can shout!!

  • OMG! His voice when he said "Her name was Rose."... That is so sad!

  • :'( nottt faiiirrrr. Poor doctor :S

  • Thank You the voice of reason

  • If he/she did, they wouldn't be up here for long.

  • I thought she was great is series four and this special.

  • I loved this episode cause it mostly made me laugh and i think i am now begining to umderstand the doctor a little. That's scary just thinking about cause he is very close to being insane. Does that mean i am losing my mind? Please don't answer that.

  • 'Her name was Rose'.

    Very moving.

  • I agree. So poignant. You can really see how much he cared for her.

  • It's amazing how Donna has become the best companion.

  • Totally! When I watch her here, there's such a difference. I love Season 4 Donna =)

  • Comment removed

  • I hated Donna in this episode, I thought she was loud. obnoxious etc. But in series 4 it showed alot more of her character, she's caring, empathetic, a listener, best temp in Chisick (sp?) :D

    I love her character now.

  • that was awsome
