The Doctor does need somebody from letting him go to far. @GoldenAmethyst, you're right. The Doctor didn't take Donna's advice after he lost her in "Journey's End" and proceeded to goto far afterwards, especially in "The Waters of Mars" where he rewrote a fixed point in time. I notice he didn't take Donna's advice after he lost her - the pain obviously was too deep whilst in this incarnation and only abated to an acceptable level once he regenerated
1:00 - 1:14 My thoughts when I first watched this were that Donna was somehow going to find Rose and get her back to the Doctor. Never happened, and would probably be impossible anyway, but it would've been good.
"You need someone," she says. I'm sure about half of the people who've seen Doctor Who would follow the Doctor in a heartbeat! Good greif, stop for your fans, Doctor! We've got your back! (kinda...)
After watching season 1 and 2 with Rose, I miss her a lot:"( she was really funny and pretty:") I wish she never left doctor who:"( love rose Tyler:")
@DancingInTheRain73 Originally, there was almost a taboo that said the Doctor wasn't allowed to fall in love with his companions. Then after the series was revived, that was sort of ignored. Which is okay, I think he needed someone like that. Just once.
well acording to my mother i was one when they stopped showing it for the 16 year stop and two when i left london to go live in holland so all my memoruies of ppost 9 doctor who is from my moms storys
@MistiquexButterfly I like how Donna seemed like such a contradiction. She acted as if she was a shallow party girl, but she had incredible empathy and never felt the Doctor owed her anything personally.
DT is hands down my Doctor. He portrays the many facets of the Doctor like no other. The sound of his voice when he says, "Her name was Rose." breaks my heart every time.
and he does find someone, he finds martha, then when martha sadly leaves him at the end of series 3, he runs into Donna again and she becomes his series 4 companion. :)
no, he lied about going in for dinner, that's why he said he needed to park the TARDIS, it was an excuse because he never parks it, he just leaves it where it lands.
lol, you're from AK too? Sweet. 'Course, not all of AK has 5 feet of snow at Christmas, Southcentral sure doesn't.....But I wish it did. I don't think we've ever had more'n three feet max on the ground at any one time. *sigh*
Actually, David Tennant said in a podcast that they filmed it in the summertime - there were a lot of shots where he pointed out that it was just way too obviously summertime, but they run on a budget and left it that way.

this sucks why are you putting them in 1 minute sections whats the point. we have to keep clicking links, put them in 9-19 minute sections so its easier to watch
I loved this episode cause it mostly made me laugh and i think i am now begining to umderstand the doctor a little. That's scary just thinking about cause he is very close to being insane. Does that mean i am losing my mind? Please don't answer that.
I hated Donna in this episode, I thought she was loud. obnoxious etc. But in series 4 it showed alot more of her character, she's caring, empathetic, a listener, best temp in Chisick (sp?) :D

Wait, so out of all the companions he's had, is Rose the only one he really loved? I didn't see the old series so I really wouldn't know.
