I have but a couple of suggestions for gauranteed sucsess.1=40 mike-mikes on bow and stern.2= 50 caliber quad mounts(armor percing ammo) on each pontoon.I would suggest a torpedo launcher,but people might think that's a bit too much.

This new Sea Shepherd interceptor vessel is a lot biger, stronger, and faster. Although it's not as fast as the Ady Gil, but will be able to stop illegal whaling for good. Also, did the Sea Shepherd name this vessel yet? Because "Interceptor" wouldn't be a good name for this ship. It should be name by something or someone special.

honestly i don't see why theres a rivalry against sea shepherd and green peace yea sure Paul watson was expelled from greenpeace but comon get over it both yall i think what they should do is legally there shouldn't be a tie but they should schedule their protecting whales and sea life projects around the same time and have a orgasmic you know perfect way to protect whales share information n stuff i mean whats the harm

This new Sea Shepherd interceptor vessel is a lot biger, stronger, and faster. Although it's not as fast as the Ady Gil, but will be able to stop illegal whaling for good. Also, did the Sea Shepherd name this vessel yet? Because "Interceptor" wouldn't be a good name for this ship. It should be name by something or someone special.

@feedpizzatoanimalz It will get named soon when somebody pays SSCS 1 million dollars. Should be soon. With the new engines now ti should do 35 knots almost as fast as the Ady.

@DerAntimensch Bethune sold the vessel to Ady Gil, the AG was there only to support SSCS's mission and it is fully Bethune' s fault he let it get rammed.
This vessel will actually be owned by Sea Shepherd and her captain wont let her get rammed.

@TheRetiredtrucker well we are blaming the Japanese for trying to ram it but Bethune clearly should not have been on the roof of the vessel laughing at hostile ships with unknown intentions. I think if bethune was careful and aware of his surroundings he could have avoided a collision with some aggressive maneuvers.

@swat26visor lets hope so I believe they are now in possesion of the vessel and are upgrading it. it needs new engines, props, and a new generator. who knows what else. it should be able to do 35 kn with the new engines and props, pretty close to the AG. Now they just need the cash so they can repaint and name it.

@mediastack they will, captain locky has much more experience than Bethune. Plus this vessel is bigger so even if rammed it might not be fatal. This vessel can go back to port probably with 5m of its bow gone.

@MrSlyRedFox No, Captain Locky MacLean will captain this new ship, Captain Alex Cornelissen will have the Bob Barker, and Captain Paul Watson will have the Steve Irwin.... Peter Hammarstedt will be the first officer on the Steve Irwin, and Laurens De Groot will not be on this campaign -- he's too busy being the European director for Sea Shepherd and Chuck Swift is too busy be the Vice-President of Sea Shepherd. Thats all I know for sure...
