I'm 41 and have worn dentures for about 6 years. I have no idea why my teeth were so bad - first cavities, then root canals, then bridges ... and finally dentures. It's time to get a new set - these do not fit anymore - and I've been told that I need jaw surgery because I don't have the bone to support dentures. Would implants help in a way that I may not need to have such intense surgery?
