  • I COULD LISTEN TO THIS ALL DAMN DAY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh snap!!.. I never heard the song before, but I skipped into the song, heard the beat, recognized it, and automatically did the Ed Lover dance

  • Read this if you think DJ Kool and DJ Kool Herc are the same person.

To clear up the confusion and vanity, Ahem:

DJ Kool = John W. Bowman, Jr. Born 1959 in Washington D.C. Let Me Clear My Throat was his biggest hit.

DJ Kool Herc = Clive Campbell. Born 1955 in JAMAICA. Considered by many to be the originator of hip hop.

  • hah,ok,i made a mistake,i love hip hop and i'm with hip hop from my day one and i think i have to change the name of this movie , thanks for straight it up !

  • @HCane22 SO change the title of the video.

  • we have to teach the babys right- this is why things in hip hop today are the way they are. The image is kool DJ herc- godfather of hip hop. The song is DJ kool from Washington, D.C. -Which is where I'm from so this is how I know- and him, Biz and Doug E are rappin over a break beat that was made by Mark the 45 king called 'the 900 number, which he sampled from marva whitney's 'unwind yourself. Peace

  • this is DJ Kool, not Herc

  • Definitely NOT Kool Herc.

  • This isn't Kool Herc, it's D.J. Kool - not the same dude.

  • @SuperRustyBoy you're not right , it's a real DJ Kool Herc , the only one ...

  • @HCane22 I am absolutely right. This was recorded by D.J. Kool (John Bowman), Biz Markie and Doug E Fresh in 1996. Kool Herc (Clive Campbell) had semi-retired by 1980, and never recorded anything for commercial release.

  • @HCane22 On the picture is the father, DJ Kool Herc when he was younger, but the people singing are DJ Kool, Biz Markie & Doug E. Fresh

  • @HCane22 DJ Kool and DJ Kool Herc are not the same person. Do a web search...

  • @SuperRustyBoy dj kool and dj kool herc is the same guy like slim shady an eminem
