Na, it wasn't that bad. I was totally being racist in a facetious way. You might have been able to pull it off if your tone was better. I liked the solo least of all. In the original, Satch's solo is epic. It's a buildup and release of energy. What I liked was:
1. Black guy playing Satch with a Dream Theater shirt on
2. You used a Les Paul (Epi)
3. You were feeling it
Use legato for your solo. I learned it note for note before doing my own variation of that solo. Always do that.

Tone could be better but it was my first video and i don't want to take it down for sentimental reasons plus i like my solo . In regards to learning the solo note for note; i figured i had to put my own personality into it. In the end if you want to hear it done the best in legato, Listen to Satch.
i can tell that he can play guitar, but its the guitar that spoils this performance. you would have to be a master to play this song properly on a les paul or a les paul copy.
I know you Can play and you are GOOD. But a cover song most be original if you ask me.
