Michelle Phan did a video on how to use a lipstick (on your lips) differently, with an emphasis on playing with various textures. Lisa Eldirige did a video on how to wear lipstick differently as well, but I found her focus to be on making the most out of one lipstick (such as using it as a cheek color). Yes, their techniques are similar, but I don't find this as plagiarism at all. If the way you apply eyeshadow, for instance, the same way someone else applies it... is that wrong?

@Thelcebox After you're done applying your lipstick, stick a finger into your mouth and close your lips around it. Then withdraw your finger from your mouth, with your lips still puckered around it. It sounds funny, but that should remove whatever lipstick that was on the inner part of your lips and would get on your teeth.

@bianca2m I'm sure there are hundreds of more videos of girls doing the SAME thing . I'm sure Lisa Aldridge was not the first one to do the video and quite frankly those techniques are not anything special so really no one is copying anything .

Highly disappointed that this is almost a copycat of Lisa Aldgridge's video. Whenever people call others on stealing I always review the video in question. Especially with make-up video's, copycatting is pretty easy to do without even knowing it. Unfortunately, its not the case for this video. She is almost using the same techniques as Lisa. Sad to see this youtuber do this when she is so publicly known and credited.

I don't understand. Why did she use the fuschia and berry lipsticks? It totally negates the video for using one lipstick for different looks. She should have used only the berry. The fuschia doesn't work with the velvet glimmer (hence the "chapped" look) or the vamped look.

@spikensalem I think I might have your answer! try outlining ur lips with a lip pencil like Michelle does so it doesn't feather, and also u can try and use primer on your scar and then dusting with a translucent powder, this can help by filling the scar in so the lipstick doesn't "run" into the scar :)

I actually have a scar running from the skin above my lip into my lip area. You would never notice, but I know it's there. xD;; I have so much trouble wearing lipstick or using lip liner, because the color seems straight into the scar and up above my upper lip. I've just about given up; all I use is tinted chap stick or lip gloss if it is for something super fancy. Are there any tips on anything I could do to prevent the...well, lip color seepage? ; 3;
