The original song is Vargtimmen by Hedningarna, a Swedish folk/rock band. There are several vids of it here on Youtube.

Vargtimmen means the Hour of the Wolf, which is a name for the darkest time of the night.

Die Carmina Burana (plural) ist aus dem 11 bis 12 jhd. Varg timmen, also die oben gespielte Melodie, ist eine neukomposition, denk älter als 30 Jahre ist die nicht. Müsst ich aber nachschaun. Jedenfalls hat sie nix, aber auch gar nix mit mittelalter oder den Carmina Burana zu tun.

Die Melodie heist "Varg Timmen", gibt aber auch noch einen zweiten namen, der mir entfallen ist, und der Komponist heißt Anders Stake.

Es handelt sich um eine Melodie, bei der in der Bordunszene ein "Schottisch" getanzt wird.
