the lab breed will need more then exercise in a apartment it needs lots of toys to keep it busy love and sometimes it needs a buddy to play with so u might want to have another dog,child,or a person to play with and some ware to go to the bathroom p.s. u will need to train it to at least sit,stay,lie down, and potty train. and that will be good for a dog in a apartment for that breed and its alot easyer than it sounds
