he never learned anything from philosophy. Its useless in a way that you cant make a job or career out of it whatsoever, but I guess you do learn about yourself. In a weird way.
hate it when musicians refuse to play ball- don't be interviewed if you can barely formulate coherent answers or just don't want to. he seems an interesting character through his music, if a bit one-trick, but nothing here suggests much depth which is a shame.

he never learned anything from philosophy. Its useless in a way that you cant make a job or career out of it whatsoever, but I guess you do learn about yourself. In a weird way.

hate it when musicians refuse to play ball- don't be interviewed if you can barely formulate coherent answers or just don't want to. he seems an interesting character through his music, if a bit one-trick, but nothing here suggests much depth which is a shame.

interviewer asked good tough questions that were put forth in a pretty dick/unsympathetic way. still, cool to hear a musician talk about some real emotions and thoughts he had and not just the usual bullshit questions they get asked. thumbs up for darwin and for the interviewer asking real questions.

this was awkward to watch. i love darwin and it was soo clear that he felt uncomfortable answering most of these questions!!
the interviewer should have picked up on it and changed the subject.

I do the same thing. When I get asked too many questions in a busy environment, I tend to space out and take a longer time to answer. Plus. That interviewer was a total jerk. Darwin Deez ftw. <3

the interviewer is getting a lot of flack here, fuhhh-uck that. He's doing what I wish more interviewers did, ask artists revealing questions. Question that actually might say something about their process, mind, how they got where they are. The typical interviewer woulda asked "how are you enjoying the netherlands" or "how's your tour going". Mad typical shit. The dude brought up Nietzsche. And i know he's a hard fuck of a philosopher but if you gonna bring him up have something that got to you

This is odd - the interviewer is obviously after him, trying to catch him off-guard or unprepared - which he does, sadly. I love his music, but the stuff he says in the interview is so cliche.
